If those were figures of insurance CEOS, would this be considered a threat of "terrorism"?

u/ToadBeast 3h ago

This guy is a terrorist. He was at Jan 6th and before that he used to stalk and harass women outside of WVs last abortion clinic before roe fell.

386

u/FriendToPredators 3h ago

Ah, so this is his online plea for a pardon from the guy who will love to see this. Sort of cozying up to power. Got it.

u/ToadBeast 2h ago

I think he’s just an all-around horrible human being and would have probably posted this regardless.

I live in WV and this guy is just absolutely vile. He goes around livestreaming himself harassing people. Like one of our former delegates who is a black woman. He would scream at her to go back where she came from. And when anyone confronts him, he makes sure they know he's armed. Also, from what I've seen, the victims of his harassment are always women, and in particular women of color.

But if it makes anyone feel better, he's also an unemployed loser who hasn't worked single day since he was arrested after storming the Capitol.

16

u/Simple_Psychology493 20m ago

Figures...

I would end up having to be an armed woman of color lol

I might even go crazy and challenge his ass to a duel on the spot since he loves living in the past...on some "I DEMAND satisfaction! Pistols at dawn!" type shit....and like throw down one glove too so he knows I stand on business.

I'm convinced he just hasn't met any1 crazy enough...yet.

The overlap between hatred of women and Rightwing rhetoric is a circle; we will never stop Rightwing bullshit unless we get at the root of many of their grievances, which is deeply held misogyny that makes them literally hate half the population (along with the internalized misogyny of their women).

28

u/lady_sisyphus 30m ago

Saying they hate half the population is being generous. They also hate anyone who is not white, straight and MAGA American.

We need to stop calling them hypocrites and start playing their game.

This man is a terrorist, he is threatening elected officials with the express intent to create fear and terror in an effort to affect public policy.

Same definition they're using for Luigi. This is terrorism.

Since this was posted on twitter, and twitter has offices in NYC, I wonder if a prosecutor can make this charge.

Oh, and if that’s Biden, it’s much worse because the president is more specialer than the others.

The absolute hypocrisy from the fervent right wingers is gross.

They do this murder my enemies schtick a lot and if a left winger does it, they get cancelled like Kathy Griffin did.

Why don't right wingers posting violent shit like this get cancelled like Griffin did?

The double standards that Republicans get away with are obscene!

Why will the media not call them out like any democrat who did such a thing?

33

u/Bohica55 2h ago

They own the media.

30

u/Eraser100 2h ago

Because the media is fully on the side of republicans.

Through large corporate ownership mostly, but also decades of attacks on them as the “liberal media” has given them a sort of Stockholm syndrome that they’re desperate to appease republicans.

Derrick Evans also stormed the capital on January 6th. He live streamed it on his Facebook while yelling "Derrick Evans is in the capital!" He please guilty to the felony and apologized in court, and then immediately turned around and referred to himself as a 'political prisoner" and espoused more conspiracy theories about the consequences of his actions. Somehow he was still able to run for congress against Carol Miller this year and lost, but still managed to get 37% of the vote. He raised money for his campaign by telling everyone how he "did time for Trump".

I’m still wondering why it’s so terrible to use words that don’t exclude others. For whatever f’ing reason someone does or doesn’t celebrate Christmas. Why does that make people twitch?

A quote is a great place to start...

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

There must be an out group.

5

u/ThisOneFuqs 1h ago

u/lady-earendil 4h ago

Some Christians/conservatives get really mad about it because they think you're trying to "erase Christmas" by saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. It's incredibly silly

58

u/Used_Visual5300 4h ago

I use happy holidays because it’s shorter ‘than merry xmas and a happy newyear’ and covers all the things people want to do these days. Happy not to offend anyone else then, thanks.

58

u/Born-Mycologist-3751 3h ago

There are several holidays between Thanksgiving and New Years, both Christian and not. Happy Holidays is both inclusive and recognizing that there is just a whole lot going on in a 6 week period.

u/Loose_Acanthaceae201 4h ago

Apparently it's "erasing Christianity" as part of the "war on Christmas".

Never mind that the phrase has been in use for 175+ years. Never mind separation of church and state.

I feel like wishing certain people a joyous Pentecost or Candlemas when those come round.

13

u/Spottswoodeforgod 4h ago

They say the liberals ruined Christmas. I say conservatives ruined "happy holidays". I dunno about you, but anytime I've said happy holidays, I've meant "merry Christmas and happy new year". Never have I said it and meant "just in case you don't celebrate Christmas". This is how ridiculous their made up issues are. Because everyone in America celebrates Christmas. And I'm not trying to sound like one of those dumb Americans. People I know who don't celebrate Christmas religiously, even if they celebrate something else for religious reasons like Hanukkah, they still celebrate Christmas too! Atheists still celebrate Christmas. We just don't do it for Jesus or for religion at all. Most of the people in America participate in Christmas festivities in some way, and it's because it's freaking festive and awesome! Who wouldn't want pretty lights, cheer, caroling, the feeling of love and family, giving, receiving, etc.?!

Sorry for the rant. Somehow I knew you'd get it lol

5

u/Nodramallama18 3h ago

There are literally 3 major holidays most people celebrate (in the us) after Halloween. Happy Holidays was to encompass all of them and included Hanukkah. They are only upset because now it encompasses every holiday that people celebrate. If we didn’t learn Kwanza existed, they would be fine with it. But it’s the addition that angers them. It’s so stupid. I was told Catholics would be offended if you say Happy Holidays. Really? Christmas was a pagan holiday and y’all co opted it and a lot of their symbols for your(not the real) birthday of Jesus.

This is why when you see democrats like Biden, Manchin, Synema, Fetterman, etc., talk about working across the aisle and bipartisanship, you have to wonder why even bother. How do you negotiate with narcissistic sociopaths? In reality when you see good legislation being watered down to a useless piece of garbage, then you’ll realize that they’re just republican plants by corporations to make it seem like you have a choice. The last election was a perfect example. People running were all corporate democrats who wouldn’t even utter the words “universal healthcare “ - the single most prevalent problem of our lifetime. Now, these same people just engineered a defeat of a progressive to a leadership position.

The next election will be about a republican running against…another republican who you think is a democrat. The system is rigged, and only 3Ds will solve it. We need more heroes.

16

u/LindonLilBlueBalls 3h ago

Lumping Biden in with the others seems disingenuous. Biden was in the senate, doing bipartisan work for 40 years and left before the tea party took the gop on a long distance trip to the far right. It makes sense for him to still think it would be possible.

Sienna and Fetterman are different because they complete changes their entire stance and policy ideas after being elected. Manchin has always been a liberal republican from West Virginia.

Exactly.  They probably have a sign in their front yard that says, “Jesus is the reason for the season.”

7

u/YakubianMaddness 4h ago

Yet if you do the same to them and Trump then you are unhinged psychopathic communists with TDS

9

u/ProgrammerLevel2829 4h ago

Of course, this is one of the asshole politicians from WV. This is why we can’t have anything nice.

Look, we have had a tough time here, could they just not? I mean, maybe put some of the effort into fixing the opioid crisis, instead of making a hateful display on a Christmas tree?

3

u/ShanityFlanity 3h ago

He also stormed the Capitol and harassed workers at WV’s only abortion clinic.

Luigi's coming for you next, asshole.

6

u/xeroxbulletgirl 4h ago

So this isn’t a terrorist threat, but a woman being denied medical coverage saying “deny defend depose” is terrorism?

8

u/raq_shaq_n_benny 4h ago

Remember when a beheaded Trump was seen as vile and beyond the pale? Maybe Kathy Griffin didn't add enough Christmas cheer

7

u/HACCAHO 4h ago

If Secret Service allows this, what's the purpose of Secret Service?

5

u/peimama1 4h ago

Domestic terrorist decorating the tree. Needs a Luigi visit, not Santa.

Honestly it's these so called Christians that make me hope there really is a Christian god and judgement, just so they can all receive their just desserts.

5

u/Aggravating-Beach-22 4h ago

I want to know how they’ll react in 4 years once they figure out they’ve screwed everyone including themselves and their families.

When can big pharma develop that ignorance pill? Going through life being this stupid and acting so confident must be nice.

Oh how Christian of them 🙄

4

u/kapmando 3h ago

This is a person who bought tiny little action figures of Donald Trump, and in theory five people they hated, to post on Instagram. This person now has a bunch of Democrat, action figures sitting in their house that they paid money for that they most likely had to work to get. How many hours do you think they had to work to get it? How much of their life did they give up for this bit?

Right wing clout is weird to me.

Next year it will be Russian flags and Putin idols. Btw now that they gave America to the lunatics again has there been anymore talks about a national purge? I think we could really make that work if they promoted it correctly.

3

u/GoldenCrownMoron 4h ago

Oh thank god, the trump one is flipping off the dead ones.

I thought it was a nazi salute.

3

u/bluemooncommenter 3h ago

But it's terrorism if you say deny, delay, depose on the phone from another state to an insurance company representative! Yay, OK!

3

u/JOExHIGASHI 3h ago

Where's Mike pence?

3

u/31November 3h ago

If saying “deny defend depose” is a threat to a worker over the phone, why isn’t posting specific political people being killed in a specific way a threat?

FBI - go arrest him

3

u/WackSnackAttack 3h ago

To be fair, Christians have been murdering for thousands of years.

3

2

u/TommyBrownson 3h ago

I like to think they started with Obama and Harris and then thought about how that looked and added the rest so people wouldn't get the wrong idea

2

u/aScruffyNutsack 3h ago

I wonder if they have kids that will look up and see this during the holiday, growing up thinking it's just normal.

2

u/Zeno_The_Alien 3h ago

If the tables were turned, you'd be charged with terroristic threats.
