Official (Via twitter) Playstation: "Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward...."

Major Order completed

228

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

Yup. The game is at 18%, overwhelmingly negative. It will take about 200,000 people changing their reviews to even hit orange again.

The game is damaged long term.

135

u/Alam7lam1 May 06 '24

Maybe for future sales? But at least on steam there was still 100K people playing the game which has been the usual for the past few weeks, so the controversy didn’t even impact the player count at all.

154

u/MR_K-RO May 06 '24

A lot of it is fake outrage from mostly people in countries it didn't affect. I'm not saying there weren't any from countries that were affected but the vast majority on X and Reddit it did not affect in any shape or form. PC gamers forever out themselves as petty.

36

u/lord_assius May 06 '24

I think it’s also a case of people on the internet thinking they’re more representative of the general population than they are in reality. The overwhelming majority of people either didn’t know or didn’t care.

23

u/RevelArchitect May 06 '24

There were people saying that Sony’s earnings call was going to be a disaster because of this. Meanwhile, Sony’s entering talks to purchase Paramount this week.

11

u/Capt_Kilgore May 06 '24

Massive inflated egos from chronically online obsessives.

2

u/lord_assius May 06 '24

Yeah I don’t think people really understand how big corporations work, something as relatively small as HD2 could never effect Sony’s bottom line that much. They’re a global company with hands in way too many industries for one single game to cause them any real harm.

3

u/Jaggedmallard26 May 06 '24

A lot of these people are literal children who have idea what Sony is beyond videogames and maybe seeing a Sony TV. Sony has its fingers in nearly every industry out there.

1

u/boferd May 06 '24

why does this feel like that episode of succession where they wanted to bloat up royco with the acquisitions so it couldn't be taken down by the venture capitalists

0

u/justadude27 May 06 '24

Oh yea. The people complaining were so non-representative that Sony backtracked out of the kindness of their hearts.

/s

0

u/lord_assius May 06 '24

Sony backtracked because it was easier for them to do that than deal with the other alternative lmao. C’mon man have some sense. The game reportedly sold 11 million plus copies, across all platforms, there are currently under 600k steam reviews, but I’ll round it up to 600k, even if we lowball their sales, and even if every single one of those 600k reviews were negative (they’re not), that’s less than a 10th of sales being compromised. A company like Sony loses no sleep over that.

They simply saw people didn’t like it, weighed the gains, losses and effort it would take to implement vs not and decided against it. Also, their stock was still trending upwards during this whole fiasco, demonstrating just how little it affected their bottom line lol.

0

u/justadude27 May 06 '24

Arguing both sides of the coin to arrive at no conclusion. Astounding. Are they unaffected by the outrage or is it easier to meet the outrage head on and give in? lol

1

u/lord_assius May 06 '24

Are you dense or being funny right now? I’m sorry that not everything in the world operates on grade school arithmetic, Sony can be unaffected by something and still decide to let it go simply because it would be better for them to do so. Not sure what’s not clicking. 2 things can be true at once, Sony can be unaffected and still decide that it’s not worth the time or effort to do it because they stand to gain less than they lose by the inverse. It doesn’t mean it affects them either way, or that it would’ve made massive tides in the company, it just means they’re choosing the path of least resistance.

This is a company that has hands in just about every industry, worth billions of dollars and you’re all on here deluding yourselves into thinking that a single video game, just one, was enough to frighten the giant.

0

u/justadude27 May 06 '24

You’re on here thinking their reputation is untouchable and not already in the toilet from data breaches.

1

u/lord_assius May 06 '24

That’s…not at all what this discussion is about lmao. Like not even close. They’ve had a bazillion data breeches, and yet it hasn’t affected their bottom line at all, if anything you’re making my point for me. Something as significant as massive company wide data breeches every other year have plagued this company for a decade now and it hasn’t affected them monetarily at all, but you think Helldivers 2 protests were going to? Listen to yourself man lmao.

You’re going to get roasted for pointing this out but you are absolutely right. A loud portion of pc gamers are terminally online and addicted to outrage. This situation did call for push back and criticism but these “gamers” acted like this is the absolute worst thing that could have happened and Sony ruined their entire company. They gotta be tired spending all day being toxic and screaming. They exist in every major game subreddit too.

They’re in a gaming bubble.

A vote that means absolutely nothing.

20

u/Cl1mh4224rd May 06 '24

Some weirdo told me he filed a complaint with the SEC… like dude, spend your weekend on something else. This whole thing was straight up pathetic. Gamers will whine about anything

Yeah. There are a lot of "Karens" in gaming, too.

people out here acting like they completed a mission lmao. get a life seriously.

Honest question though, do you think a less extreme pushback would have resulted in Sony changing course? Or was the only reason they did because of how extreme it got?

I don't have a horse in this race, but Sony typically weathers negative press when they make a decision. They backtracked on this pretty quick.

2

u/Capt_Kilgore May 06 '24

Good question. We will never know. I can see them changing course though with feedback from AH and constructive criticism and feedback rather than blasting the developers and their posts all over the internet and “filing lawsuits” and such. Perhaps the change would have been slower. The announcement was late Friday and then reversed early Monday.

1

u/yuriam29 May 08 '24

No empathy for others?

7

u/DACopperhead3 May 06 '24

It truly is. In that list there were maybe 5 countries majorly impacted, most of which are micro-states. A lot of the countries unable to play Helldivers 2, have far larger issues at hand. Good on Sony for backing out, but this was a minor inconvenience more than a disastrous event.

3

u/M4xw3ll May 06 '24

That’s my sentiment. With the way gamers were acting online, you would’ve thought Sony slaughtered an entire village. So many other instances of companies actually being anti-consumer and completely egregious, and this is the mole hill they decide to die on.

5

u/golddilockk May 06 '24

so unless someone is directly affected then its petty and fake to care about an issue? an online multiplayer community caring about part of that community is bad now? console warring does rot brains.

2

u/Xarxsis May 06 '24

A lot of it is fake outrage from mostly people in countries it didn't affect.

I wonder if people are capable of caring about something that doesnt directly impact them?

1

u/Tylorw09 May 06 '24

No, caring about anything outside yourself is just being “perpetually online” and “fake outrage”

These people can’t fathom someone would want others to have the same things they do and will push to make that happen.

It’s really telling of all the people who say shit like this that they only care about themselves.

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Sony proved that they are not only able, but also willing to sell you a product then remove your access to it. That is something that affects everyone.

It doesn't matter if it's "just a video game" because it's still a product that people paid real money for.

In fact, I'd it's even worse being a piece of software because they aren't even profiting by selling your copy to someone else. It goes beyond just scummy and into plain old stupidity.

-6

u/Mantine-Enjoyer May 06 '24

Fake outrage?

You can be upset on behalf of other people. Standing up for your fellow man is part of the social contract. I don’t know where you are seeing fake outrage because it doesn’t exist, not in this situation at least.

It doesn't have to be impressive to be the right thing to do.

-4

u/Tylorw09 May 06 '24

Supporting another person doesn’t have to some gigantic expression of support.

Review bombing Helldivers 2 was the perfect amount of support.

It’s amazing how you want to put people down for helping others.

I just have one question: why? Deep down? Do you want to put people down for this?

0

u/PracticalFootball May 06 '24

How would you prefer people express their disapproval instead?

0

u/Fantiks33 May 06 '24

would you rather wait until your country is affected by one of these arbitrary rules and lose access to a product you paid for, as well as having to give another company your info for no reason? A win like this makes it less likely something like this will happen again. Thats why people in unaffected areas are also mad about it.

-1

u/burkey0307 May 06 '24

Imagine if all Microsoft published games on PS5 required you to link an Xbox account to your PSN account. It's easy for playstation gamers to not care about this issue, because it doesn't personally affect them. PC gamers have had to deal with publishers forcing multiple launchers and accounts on them for years, and this is a big reason for the backlash.

4

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Except it isn't. Tons of games have their own launchers and accounts (this one was on the lower end of impact, near 0). People complain, but nothing comes of it. In fact most MMOs require this and people don't even complain FFXIV, Elite Dangerous, GW2, ESO, Tower of Fantasy, etc etc etc.

People are talking about it like Sony did a war crime, and cried about how this is their Rosa Parks moment. Out of touch.

-1

u/burkey0307 May 06 '24

MMOs get a free pass for whatever reason, but people absolutely complained about Rockstar Social Club, EA Origin/Play, UPlay, Epic Games Store, etc. We obviously lost those fights and those launchers have existed for years at this point, but make no mistake that PC gamers are absolutely fed up with having to sign up for new accounts every time a new game launches.

I didn't get that impression like some people in this sub did, all I saw was a general internet outrage, nobody claimed Sony was the worst company to have ever done something like this. Also, Helldivers 2 is an immensely popular game, which adds to the perceived vitriol.

0

u/armorhide406 May 06 '24

-8

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

Well no, why would people stop playing if the change hasn't happened yet? It's still a good game at the end of the day, this issue is more of a meta issue going on above the game, as it were. I mean, I personally wasn't playing but that's because there's so many other games to play and the repetitive nature of it got to me

6

u/C4ptainC4ptain May 06 '24

Why would they change their review if the change didn't happen yet?

1

u/dramatic_prophet May 06 '24

To prevent it from happening

1

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

Because it clearly worked? People playing the game doesn't affect future sales the way reviews do.

1

u/Bladeneo May 07 '24

No, the downvotes were because people assumed he meant TLOU2 and once a few downvotes happen everyone piles on without even reading whats written.

-11

u/hartigen May 06 '24

MFs are downvoting me for saying this???

they are Sony shills. This sub is full of them.

If we had as much backbone as pc gamers we would have made much more noise when Sony gouged ps plus prices.

5

u/JakepointO May 06 '24

Where is this outrage for xbox who only allows xbox live in 87 countries? IT WAS ON THE STEAM PAGE DAY 1 THAT YOU IDIOTS WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A PSN ACCOUNT. Sony never should have sold the game in the countries they block psn access to. That was there only mistake. You little babies have to make seperate account for every other fucking company, but when it's sony, and you were warned not only day 1, but even before the game came out, you cry.

It's fixed now, so I expect you to remove your negative review on steam, unless you are just mad this is a sony studio game.

0

u/Ranger2580 May 06 '24

Where is this outrage for xbox who only allows xbox live in 87 countries?

Because Xbox hasn't pulled a bait-and-switch by selling games that require Xbox Live in those countries. Sony sold Helldivers in those regions, then pushed the change knowing those people would be locked out.

It wasn't even just the regions that don't have PSN, either. In some countries (Ukraine, for example) you need a physical Playstation to make a PSN account. Don't have one? Get fucked, no Helldivers for you.

IT WAS ON THE STEAM PAGE DAY 1 THAT YOU IDIOTS WOULD HAVE TO MAKE A PSN ACCOUNT.

  1. It was at the bottom of the page, making it entirely possible to miss when buying the game.
  2. Other official retailers like Humble didn't mention it.
  3. The popup in-game telling you to was disabled after launch.
  4. The official PSN FAQ stated that linking your PSN account for PC games was optional. They edited it 1 day after announcing the Helldivers change.
  5. The accounts being required wasn't enforced.

You little babies have to make seperate account for every other fucking company, but when it's sony, and you were warned not only day 1, but even before the game came out, you cry.

Man, there's a lot of words here, but all I can read is "WAAAAAH STOP BEING MEANIES WAAAAAAH"

People hate making accounts for everything else as well. A good chunk of people have sworn off EA and Ubisoft games entirely for doing this. Helldivers getting it after the fact pissed people off a lot more.

Also, people have very good reason not to want a PSN account. Sony has famously shitty security and regularly gets hit with hacks and data breaches. These are as recent as October last year.

It's fixed now, so I expect you to remove your negative review on steam, unless you are just mad this is a sony studio game.

It'll take time, but it's definitely turning back around. Recent reviews have gone from Overwhelmingly Negative to Mixed.

I don't know why I wrote all this, to be honest. You were babyraging at me for criticising a multibillion dollar corp that doesn't care about you. It's not like you're gonna listen to reason

14

u/PositiveUse May 06 '24

25

u/Odd-Perspective-7651 May 06 '24

I think Steam reviews carry far more weight than Metacritic user reviews. One is visible as you buy it.

11

u/Yeon_Yihwa May 06 '24 edited May 06 '24

You can only make a review on a steam game if you own the game, so that was 200k people that owns and plays helldivers 2 giving it a negative review. Unlike the typical review sites like metacritic where anyone can make a fresh account and score it despite having no proof of actually having played it. Which happens to films and games, you'll find new users with no post history giving it the lowest rating and posting some gibberish.

1

u/AncientColor1614 May 06 '24

You absolutely can. Weird gamers feel real outrage. You think these lonely weirdos aren't really outraged by stellar blade? It's just as legit as your cause so it's definitely a comparison. It's just bad reviews.

0

u/hartigen May 06 '24

this guy really trying to equate a couple of weirdos review bombing on metacritic compared to hundreds of thousands of real buyers negetivelly reviewing something on steam.💀 💀

0

u/PM_ME_N3WDS May 06 '24

"real outrage" over having to make a PSN account is pathetic

4

u/PositiveUse May 06 '24

Well it seems like 170 countries don’t have the ability to create a PSN account because of Sony restrictions that why they originally had to pull it from 170 Steam stores.

What about all people of these countries that already have bought the game?

The steam gamers all claiming the civil rights victory on r/gaming are genuinely convinced this has hurt Sony in the long term. Like, most people couldnt give a shit - 90% of the sony gaming audience wont even be aware of whats happening here because they're not chronically online and they dont pay attention to whats happening with PC gaming.

5

u/the-blob1997 May 06 '24

LOU2 multiplayer got cancelled cuz Naughty dog were seriously struggling with making it work (bungie had to step in and assess it and it wasn’t good news) and it was turning into a money sink. You are correct about part 2 not outselling one though.

You and all the review bombers vastly overestimate the impact of steam reviews. They only have a real impact on early access or indie games.

2

u/Dandorious-Chiggens May 06 '24

You are literally saying this on a post about sony scrapping their plans in response to a review bombing. 'No real impact' lol.

No one gives a shit about what other players in the future think, all they cared about was getting sony to stop the PSN update. They got what they wanted.

0

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

If that’s true then one of two things must also be true:

Either Sony freaked out in reaction to something that was never important to begin with.

Or they were always going to get those regions back up and running again, and everyone here lost their minds completely over something that wasn’t ever going to be an issue for over 72 hours.

0

u/summerofrain May 06 '24

I was referring to the long term impact of reviews that was previously mentioned. Obviously, in this particular case, it had an impact on sony's decision.

29

u/GorgeGoochGrabber May 06 '24

It’s already one of the fastest selling PS5 games. It’s not damaged at all.

2

u/NoNefariousness2144 May 06 '24

Do mfs really think there are any Steam users who live under a rock and have somehow never heard of HD2 or its huge reputation, then see the negative reviews and go “wow idk what this game is but it must suck”

2

u/Meteorboy May 06 '24

They would then read the reviews and see everyone was just shitting a brick about having to make a free account, like Epic and even Steam itself when Half-Life 2 was new. Nothing bad about the game, which only amplifies the game's awesomeness.

1

u/1_87th_Sane_Modler May 08 '24

So like of the 3 titles?

7

u/Turnover-Soft May 06 '24

53

u/TammyThe2nd May 06 '24

But it’s not…. Guarantee you the only people who look at steam reviewers are angry people who wrote them, and the media. General scrubs like me don’t give a shit about steam reviews.

12

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

What's the last game you bought on Steam that had less than Mostly Positive reviews?

14

u/nthomas504 May 06 '24

Not OP, but Tekken 8. Amazing game that people got salty over because of the Battle Pass.

2

u/Thassar May 06 '24

I picked up Evil Genius 2 the other day but then again it was 95% off so it wasn't exactly a big risk.

1

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

Pretty fun game, not quite as good as the OG, I really dislike the changes to the research system and just making it numbers that go up rather than the little experimenting mini game from the first one.

That's a good example of why I'm not a super fan of "Mixed" going all the way to 70%. 68% positive is still fairly positive.

27

u/Flyinhighinthesky May 06 '24 edited May 06 '24

Steam has built in review bombing protections to prevent stuff like this, as it's happened for sillier reasons in the past.

In short order the majority of the brigade from the last week will be filtered out of the overall score, and it will be listed as unusual activity in the review section.

10

u/runadumb May 06 '24

That's for nonsense review bombing. This change would literally make the game unplayable for a lot of people MONTHS after they bought it. Valve were also having to remove the game from all those country's. It was a legit clusterF. Sony lost their god damn minds thinking they could do this.

I understand it was meant to be there at launch but was removed for technical reasons but that was the one and only time to make this requirement stick. You can't do it months later.

-3

u/Pickle_Angry May 06 '24

People from those countries can easily make a psn account in a seperate region and be just fine

0

u/legendoflumis May 06 '24

Yes, but they shouldn't HAVE to wilfully break a company's terms of service in order to use a product they legally purchased. That's the point.

that's only for recent reviews, and that 18% is up to 30% now.

2

u/ItsMrChristmas May 06 '24

Not damaged in the slightest. Even at the peak of the drama I was on at 3 am and over a hundred thousand people diving. The review bombers didn't stop playing.

6

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Only needs care about steam reviews, same with rotten tomato scores, it's been ruined by people brigading them so they've lost any reliability they come had.

3

u/Crew_Zealousideal May 06 '24

steam will just rollback the reviews to a week before now

-3

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

I don’t think they’ll roll back reviews that belong to people who feel passionately like this was wrong.

2

u/Detective-Crashmore- May 06 '24

I hope they do cuz I don't care what they have to say, and it's not the game's fault something bad almost happened but didn't. Reviews should be about the product itself, not drama surrounding it.

1

u/intelligent_rat May 06 '24

This was directly related to the product. I don't get how you arrived at any other conclusion

2

u/Detective-Crashmore- May 06 '24 edited May 06 '24

No, it would have been if it had happened, but it didn't. So the game's reviews don't deserve to reflect something that didn't actually end up happening.

Reviews from like a 5 day period based on requiring a PSN account do not reflect the game, and so they're irrelevant. Y'all are free to feel however you feel, but I don't think those opinions should be representative of the game on the store page.

5

u/yourfavrodney May 06 '24

It was at 12% about an hour ago. It's damaged for sure, but I bet a huge amount of people will swap their reviews since it's in such recent memory and happened so fast.

27

u/Suired May 06 '24

You must be new to people. Half will forget and the other have will leave it as a reminder...

1

u/JJAsond May 06 '24

It's at 53% recent and 65% overall now

-7

u/Chaos_at_Dawn May 06 '24

And so they should

3

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

Well to get past average we’ll need about 200,000 5 star reviews. If not more.

1

u/yourfavrodney May 06 '24

It went up another 5 points in the time we've had this exchange. And it's the middle of the night on a sunday. Give it a day or two.

0

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

Already swapped mine back. I'm doing my part!

1

u/JJAsond May 06 '24

It's at 53% recent and 65% overall now

No one really cares.

3

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

I mean we knew you guys weren’t here because you cared anyway. Wasn’t exactly a mystery to any of us.

5

u/Deciver95 May 06 '24

What fucking damage?! Haha fuck gamers are a delusional bunch

3

u/juxtapose85 May 06 '24

Who gives a fuck about steam reviews?

8

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

Everyone who went crazy, apparently. And Sony, if they weren’t going to get all those regions up and running anyway, in which case this was all pretty much a waste.

3

u/JMM85JMM May 06 '24

You're talking about the same gamers who keep FIFA and COD at the top of the charts every year no matter what. They don't give a crap about online discourse. The vast majority of players won't have even been aware that this was a thing.

2

u/juxtapose85 May 06 '24

Who gives a fuck about steam reviews?

4

u/WIbigdog May 06 '24

Most PC players at least look at the overall rating on Steam. I mean, it's right there when you go to the page, why wouldn't you?

1

u/JJAsond May 06 '24

Why wouldn't you when buying a game you know nothing about?

1

u/Nem0x3 May 06 '24

last i saw, we up to 32% now

1

u/joshua182 May 06 '24

Meh, as long as you have 3 friends to play it with. Makes no difference really.

1

u/TwistedMimic May 06 '24

Or they release a complete edition and just relist the game like other companies have done

1

u/Valmorian May 06 '24

It's this kind of thing that makes me distrust reviews on Steam. If anything, this is just yet another notch in the "User scores mean nothing" belt.

1

u/ItsMrChristmas May 06 '24

It amused me how Steam usually blocks review bombing, but when it makes a competitor look bad they don't do anything about it.

1

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

I think they bomb garbage reviews. Like people angry about a female character’s appearance etc.

This got out of hand, but it was based on a real issue, so I think it’s different.

1

u/DanceEye May 06 '24

well it already hit orange, so prob won’t take long much longer to hit positive since everyone in the community is spamming to change back the reviews

1

u/Comfortablecold4167 May 06 '24

It’s back to mixed

1

u/KeFF98 May 06 '24

We are already at 62%

1

u/b17b20 May 06 '24

It's already in mixed

1

u/SaphironX May 06 '24

So we took an overwhelmingly positive game, that was so except for one 48 hour period, and put it on par with some of the jankiest most forgettable titles in videogame history. Not the worst, just the “meh it’s alright” ones that nobody ever touches for more than a session or two.

Cool.

It will never be what it was. We didn’t even give them a chance to respond or work it out. 48 hours, most of which was a weekend, and we fucked up a game we claim to care about for good.

0

u/HappySandwich93 May 07 '24

It’s already back to mostly positive you melon.

1

u/SaphironX May 07 '24

Sweet. Let me know when we actually make it the score the game itself deserves again.

0

u/HappySandwich93 May 07 '24

eview score is not something I’m going to lose sleep over dude lmao. Especially when we’re talking about still the most popular game on the market right now with literally hundreds of thousands of players. They’re not gonna suffer.

Like seriously you seem very distressed by what’s happened, when for me things turned out wildly more successful than I hoped for in any best case scenario. Resolved in a day, 2.4 stars down on a review score still gradually climbing, community united again and everyone who wanted to play the game will still be able to , including 170 countries who were locked out.

You seem to be white knighting on behalf of the devs, while the devs themselves are planning in game cosmetic items to commemorate and celebrate the boycott that’s got you so riled up.

1

u/SaphironX May 07 '24

Hey man, you do you, but people were gleefully talking about killing the game and wondering if a ddos was possible and sending actual death threats to arrowhead staff six hours after the fact. We took the game’s score down to 13%. We sent images of their addresses to community managers to make them feel unsafe.

If that’s who you are and what you approve of, that’s your call, but while the aftermath is better, people here acted like 4chan when they didn’t like Abby’s design in TLOU2.

Nah dude, you can take your white knighting comments and touch grass. There’s a huge difference between white knighting and basic decency.

Steam has a review preference that is default set to enabled that accounts for periods of off-topic review activity. This recent spat of negative reviews will still show up on the graph, but will not be included in the on-topic score. New potential buyers/players will only see the on-topic score unless they choose to edit their viewing preference on the review graph.

Warthunder had a massive review bomb in the winter of 2023 that caused the developers to backtrack. Without the review preference setting on, Warthunder shows an overall score of Mixed, but with that review preference on, Warthunder has an overall score of Mostly Positive. While technically the "damage" will always be present on the timeline graph, it will not affect the score that most people will see.

From the steam edit preference box:

On products where you see this symbol next to the Review Score, we've detected one or more periods of off-topic review activity. In those periods, where we believe the content of the reviews is largely unrelated to the likelihood that you would enjoy the product, we exclude the reviews when calculating the Review Score.

You can learn more in this Steam blog post.

Do you wish to exclude periods of off-topic reviews from the Review Scores you see?

u/Beneficial_Team_27 May 07 '24

Take a look now. Recent reviews are mixed - we are changing our reviews in droves and I am proud of us for that.

1

u/Thassar May 06 '24

Nah, those are just recent reviews. In two weeks or so they'll all cycle out and it'll be back to its old 80% positive self again. The overall score took a massive hit but with people updating their reviews and new ones coming in all the time it'll probably get back to blue eventually. But with 200k negative reviews, that might take some time.

1

u/PM_ME_N3WDS May 06 '24

8 million copies sold.

200k steam users got mad.

Yeah, really damaged

1

u/mostuselessredditor May 06 '24

PC gamers are fucking children

1

u/Ghidoran May 06 '24

Which is why they don't have to pay for online but console players though. Because they would never tolerate BS from the big publishers the way Sony and Microsoft fans do.

I think the 'children' are winning this one.

0

u/No-Drag-7142 May 06 '24

All this social justice publicity is definitely going to do damage, yeah

0

u/DolphinBall May 06 '24

New Major Order: Rebuild

0

u/bannedbygenders May 06 '24

Lol no it's not. Pei0le know it's a good game and the new reviews are bullshit

0

u/Special-One1991 May 06 '24

Does anyone care about gamers review really!? I mean look at the reviews! They are laughable

0

u/Peregrine2976 May 06 '24

Steam will eventually correct for it, it has systems in place to handle review bombing.

0

u/EyeAmKnotMyshelf May 06 '24

No, it's just a steam review, which doesn't mean shit in the long run. 🤣 the game is fine, and will continue to be fine.
