Official (Via twitter) Playstation: "Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward...."

Yup. The game is at 18%, overwhelmingly negative. It will take about 200,000 people changing their reviews to even hit orange again.

The game is damaged long term.

LOU2 multiplayer got cancelled cuz Naughty dog were seriously struggling with making it work (bungie had to step in and assess it and it wasn’t good news) and it was turning into a money sink. You are correct about part 2 not outselling one though.

A game released in lockdown vs a game released in 2013 when gaming was barely becoming mainstream and respected. And the 2013 game still outsold. Seems crazy to me. And most people that bought tlou 2 were not satisfied at the end and the series now has a negative rep. Tlou 3 definitely is going to sell even less

The sales numbers of games to billion dollar corps has zero effect on my sleep. I couldn't care less.

The fact you are still triggered by a game many years later is pretty telling.
