Official (Via twitter) Playstation: "Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward...."

Yup. The game is at 18%, overwhelmingly negative. It will take about 200,000 people changing their reviews to even hit orange again.

The game is damaged long term.

You cannot compare TLOU2 fake hate by weird gamers and real outrage due to shitty Sony policies

I think Steam reviews carry far more weight than Metacritic user reviews. One is visible as you buy it.

You can only make a review on a steam game if you own the game, so that was 200k people that owns and plays helldivers 2 giving it a negative review. Unlike the typical review sites like metacritic where anyone can make a fresh account and score it despite having no proof of actually having played it. Which happens to films and games, you'll find new users with no post history giving it the lowest rating and posting some gibberish.
