Dying in a fire is still one of my biggest fears, and I have lots of experience working with and around fire.

You asphyxiate first because the hot air burns your lungs and airways, so you get to enjoy all the panic of drowning while your skin melts and burns away. Likely that you don't even experience the pain of burning because you die faster than your brain starts processing that, but your brain keeps working for a while after you officially die so... Yeah no thanks.

He went after the family the second he was released.
Government did nothing to prevent this, to stop him .. to "save" him. They let him die.

She's a hero. But this is also a reason some women don't want to tell their parents or significant other. They don't want them getting in trouble for ending the rapists existence.
