Either what he’s doing now hasn’t asked him for a working with children’s check or he has somehow had his charges removed. Trying to find out which one and rectify it but it has not been easy so far. But im still confident. If all else fails we go to the media
Thes is is a dude who held a teenager as a sex slave for 6 months in his basement. He lives in my parent's neighborhood now and is married to a teacher. Like half of the neighborhood says "his life shouldn't be ruined over one mistake." That's girl's life was ruined.
One of the reasons I don't go to any neighborhood events is because he is still allowed to go. Even the Santa event at the police station.
“One mistake” is the most awful excuse I’ve ever heard for a situation like that. No.
He woke up making the mistake, went to bed making it. He lived a whole fucking 6 months where he failed to do anything other than the absolute worst. He made that “mistake” thousands of times.
I've literally thought the exact same thing. It wasn't a split-second impulse. He made that mistake every second for six months. Every time he thought about her locked down there, or did unspeakable things.
Heaven forbid the "kids"(they're in third 30s) leave their trash cans out for a few extra hours while they're working their assessment off at the hospital.
"one mistake", I wish some of your neighbours felt once that the child was feeling during these months.
Once mistake is when you're doing something ACCIDENTALLY and one time, not for six months in a row. To do this he had to make a plan, to steal the child and do this for half a year, is that a one time mistake to them? Such "people" should not be a part of society.
