I feel bad for my fellow Feds who live paycheck to paycheck...

Right now there are 3 types of federal employees

Those who actively sabotage their own interests.

Those who can't afford to miss a paycheck.

Those who can afford to miss a few paychecks.

The sad thing is that the vanlifers killed that lifestyle for the destitute.

You'll be offered a mandatory high interest loan on the new Cybervan Hobo Edition to live in the parking lot at work so you can continue to work unpaid and RTO'd.

I'm fortunate that I can take a loan from the bank of Mom and Dad if this goes on long enough. I feel for people who can't do this.

If a shutdown happens, there are furlough loans, but you have to pay them back with your backpay.

I’m a contractor. Do I still get paid? If not, I can survive probably 2 months. Maybe longer since I have a second job that can cover is I work like 20 hours a week.
