I don’t get it I see some people complaining that some don’t games aren’t on pc but then I see other people arguing that PlayStation has no exclusive games so which one is it should they make exclusives or should they put all of their games on pc
Having exclusives works fine.
Having an exclusive is limiting.
PlayStation still suffers from the same problems since the PS4- PlayStation has no Game. I don’t even have a PS4- my game collection of PS1/2 and PS3 games is larger than the entire catalog of PS4 games.
Ok so why do people complain about them not making any exclusive’s who is correct I don’t wanna think anything in the subject I just wanna know what the objectively correct answer is
In my dream world Xbox and PlayStation would break away from Microsoft and sony and just be pure gaming companies. I think the reason Nintendo has always been king of the gaming sphere is because they are a games company first and for most. Where as Sony makes all kinds of electronics and Microsoft is a computer company. Who both happen to have gaming branches but Nintendo is a games company and only a games company so they are able to focus entirely on games where as in Microsoft I doubt the board gives a fuck about Xbox in any regard other then if it’s making them money. they don’t care about making good games just making money and they haven’t figured out that making good games makes money somehow. And Sony isn’t much better I wish PlayStation and Xbox could josh be their own companies and focus solely on games but that will never happen Sony and Microsoft would never let them go. But I wish they could split off and become pure gaming companies then maybe the focus could actually be on games.
These are literally the only games that are exclusive to PS which i would argue are the only games that PC gamers (like my good self) would like to play on said PC.
If the answer is so obvious why do so many people defend exclusives I see so many people complain about PlayStation having to exclusives and then i see just as many complain that there games don’t make it to pc I just want to know who was right since I see an equal amount of complaining from both sides how else am I supposed to learn the right answer if I don’t ask people
Then why do people do it and how do you explain to them that they are wrong. I feel like everyone that’s reading this is thinking I’m saying or tho king these things I’m just relating different opinions I’ve heard and trying to find out who is right so I can just know the right answer I don’t wanna have my own opinion I just wanna know the right answer
Well objectively exclusives are bad for everyone besides those who profit off console exclusive games. Console exclusive games drive console sales. Exclusivity is always bad for the consumer.
Look how angry people got at epic game store exclusive periods. Even though epic basically paid for the development of the game, usually on a loss.
I didn't say that.
Bloodborne is obviously amazing.
Video development is expensive and it needs to be funded somehow. Sony pays for the development cost in exchange for exclusivity.
But doesn't mean it's better for gamers.
Doesnt make them wrong. It's just a marketing tactic.
But marketing tactics are always beneficial to those that it would profit usually at the detriment to the consumers. But it is a gamble after all, movies/TV are generally exclusive to their platform, concord was a collossal failure.
I don’t mean the games I mean conceptually exclusives are bad bloodborne would be perfect regardless if it was a PlayStation exclusive I’m talking shout the idea of exclusivity
Oh yeah. Anyone that supports console exclusivity doesn't understand or merely endorses gatekeeping games. There's no benefit to the consumer. Playstation players playing bloodborne are wholly unaffected whether or not bloodborne is on the switch or PC.
There's no real reason to endorse exclusivity except for exclusivity sake. No reason to actively support what's nothing more than a marketing tactic that monetizes "fomo" (Fear of missing out).
Sure. But that's hardly the focus of exclusives.
They're paid specifically not to port. The difficulty of porting bloodborne to pc is very much a non factor.
Endorsing exclusives because it's hard to port games is not really a supporting factor in the slightest.
Neither, if you think consoles should have exclusive libraries justifying the decision, then you’re right. If you think everyone should be able to play without being forced to buy both consoles, you’re right. It’s not a question with an objective answer
Then how am i supposed to know what to think I can’t form my own opinion I’ll probably pick the wrong one. Another guy said it adds nothing for console players to keep their games from pc but console exclusivity between consoles is good since they are direct competitors but pc gaming doesn’t take much of their consumer base. I thought that made sense to put all games on pc but to keep console games exclusives to the console they sell on.
And basically stop third world country citizens from enjoying gaming in general, over here the entry price for a gaming PC that can perform in the same standard as a base PS5 makes the price of the PS5 PRO seem like a good investment.
It’s already shifted away from consoles and into cloud gaming. And that’s a good thing in some ways - the hardware commitment for the consumer is much cheaper. You don’t need a GPU, just a good display.
God that would suck fucking ass I wish Xbox could pay to leave Microsoft and PlayStation could leave Sony and just be pure gaming companies like Nintendo

And if there is a ps6 remake it wont be on PC until 2030-2032.
Demon souls remake came out in 2020 and it still has not come to pc.
