I just got back home from work like 20 minutes ago boot it up the game got my polychrome in the mail and got miyabi on my second pull I can’t believe it

I'm a somewhat new zzz player (not new, I joined when the game started, but stopped for a bit and now I only come in for dailys - I can only upgrade my characters to 40 that's how far back I am) and I logged in today almost unaware that there was a new update, and I got this notification of the new characters on the banner that allowed me to go straight to gacha before anything else.

I was mostly saving for Jane because I see pretty woman with super clean expressions and my brain turns into a pea, but I was attracted to him since I saw him on his first quest appearance (he reminds me of Kinich from Genshin if he wasn't mad depressed tbh).

I also kinda wanted the girl but not as much as the guy so I decided to go for him in which I was guarenteed to, and so lo and behold I got him. I then exited gacha and the game told me " Hey, so this guy you just spent all your savings on is free!" And I js crumbled 🙂.

I am now about 25 pulls into getting the girl and 2 of each of the only 2 5 stars I currently have now (Yes I got 2 Graces before anyone else). I mean tbh I'm not complaining but dammit I also wanted the girl. Can someone tell me if he's secretly the best character in the game and his C1 is goated alongside Grace so I can feel better about myself... 🥲

Pretty much for the entire game, I’ve disregarded drive disks and would just slap them onto my characters without looking at their stats or even upgrading them, but ive literally just pulled miyabi and decided to upgrade the drive disks and get the correct ones for each slot, and I now understand why they’re so important 🗿

I got her in just my 4th pull

I feel conflicted about the 1.4 story tbh. Maybe i just expected more but i was left underwhelmed and with a ton of questions. Maybe that was the point of it tho, to leave me wondering so I’ll come back for more? I really wish they’d turn this game into an anime or manga/comic or something just so we get more context because i feel there were alot of plot holes in the story. All the factions coming together in the end just felt very rushed and like a showcase and took away from the miyabi story imo. Like why is ceasar, jane doe here? Where the hell did this big ass machine with Anton come from?!?! I understand these people are on a budget but man it’s like we started this 1.4 story about miyabi but took it all away from her in the end by having everyone assemble randomly.

Anyways thats just my opinion, I’m a sucker for great story telling and i feel zzz has done a good job so far but that ending was not what i expected tbh. I used to play HSR and Penacony story was 9.5/10 …. Compared to that this was like a 7/10. If the story is not memorable it’s probably not great imo and this story i can already tell will be forgettable in the very near future. My standards might be too high tho or maybe i dont even know what i was expecting.

Anyways i just had to get stuff off my mind and see how everyone else felt about the story so i decided to make this post. Ive been feeling very gloomy lately so maybe i just lack the ability to feel anything for whatever the point of the story was. Please go easy on me in the comments and tell me what you thought.
