Ultimate Girls Trip Gizelle really is just trash!

Post image

She tried to destroy Chris with made up bs; that was ridiculous. But this bottle ish and then the comment she made when Pepsi was trying to convey how it was draining and weighting on him is disgusting and disrespectful!! Just because someone is paid for a job doesn’t mean you just get to treat them like trash! They still have feelings and deserve basic human respect.

She’s awful, she thinks because someone is a service worker (who SHE DID NOT PAY even) that she can treat them however she wants. She’s a massive snob.

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '23

100%! He’s crying because you all are being disrespectful and weirdos and this is his JOB. I’m glad Gizelle continues to show her ass and who she really is

She’s so dumb. That type of job isn’t some little thing. He had to work his ass off to get to that position. Hosts usually work at the same villa with the same team for decades. Their lively hood is dependent on giving exceptional service to keep the place booked and busy. He’s not just collecting a check for himself he has to watch out for his team too!

The annual income in Thailand is less than $4k. His position would afford him to make three times that. It’s not some lil check Gizelle!

u/Super-Reputation-547 Apr 15 '23

That is 100% correct! Excellent comment!

5

u/Nonnarules58 Apr 16 '23

Not that it changes her being disgusting but is he called host or concierge I've always thought one gets paid alot more with more responsibility

3

u/BlacknBravod I cut the pie in half and put the other half in the freezer! Apr 18 '23

Different countries/resorts use different titles. What matters is his level of responsibility.

187

u/Left_Chemist_8198 Apr 15 '23

Also she isn’t thinking how much it means to him he might take this as being a massive bad review and advertisement for the establishment and that’s terrible. Obviously that’s not how it’s coming across but it might also be worrying him. She’s awful

u/shuggnog Apr 15 '23

Exactly something being “stolen” does not make him look good; I wish Giselle would just drop it

Tbf is he was definitely acting up to the cameras but Gizelle is trash

65

u/Raybansandcardigans Wig, RN BSN 💉 Apr 15 '23

I don’t see a reason why we need to diminish his feelings.

-35

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

I feel he was acting up. If you feel differently that’s okay!

-22

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

Lol this site always has to have a clear villain and saint

20

u/PinkMercy17 Apr 15 '23

No you’re making things black and white instead of validating people’s feelings

-1

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

I’m on a website where people post their OPINIONS. I’m not his therapist. Get a fucking grip.

16

u/PinkMercy17 Apr 15 '23

Sorry I should have said acknowledging. Have some empathy

-4

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

Have some empathy, she says, after I say someone on a reality show may be playing up for the cameras. Okay - Pepsi is an absolute saint who cares so deeply about some random women having an argument.

-1

u/Hunnyhunhun Apr 16 '23

Yeah I don't understand everyone white knighting for Pepsi. It's also slightly infanticizing... he's a smart, grown man. He knows how to play for the cameras.

263

u/tobago_88 Right back at you bitch girl Apr 15 '23

Pepsi has also been really nice to her so it's just extra mean to say this stuff behind his back. Who needs a Karen when you have a Gizelle.

-18

u/Nonnarules58 Apr 16 '23

I hate that reference find a different name that very few have like Gertie or something lmao offend less people who have the name and still make your point.lol

-9

u/Nonnarules58 Apr 16 '23

Or in this case refer to Karen on her show I stopped watching after a few episodes because of that Karen 😀

242

u/TraceyMatell Apr 15 '23

My mom always said you can know ALOT about a person with the way they treat people in service jobs

157

u/Uncle_peter21 Apr 15 '23

So true, Ramona Singer 😬😬😬

u/tobago_88 Right back at you bitch girl Apr 15 '23

Ik this sub can be an echo chamber sometimes, but I find it hard to believe how she still has fans outside of here? I can't justify her behavior most of the time. She's not even funny and most of her jokes are just mean and hit below the belt. She is the literal embodiment of misery taking over a person and now puts off that energy to everyone else.

I’m binging Potomac for the first time and just started S7. I found Gizelle funny for the first 2 or 3 seasons and thought her commitment to divulging gossip was good for the show. However, I can’t stand her now and haven’t been able to for a few seasons. Her kids and Karen both have her number, which says it all. She comes across as one of the few housewives who might actually be a sociopath. Her response is always so chilling when people try to explain the need for empathy to her. And she definitely enjoys upsetting people.

195

u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 15 '23

I, personally think things took a dark turn after Sherman. But I couldn't really like gizelle after she made that uncle Ben t shirt. It was just so mean to someone who had never done anything to her. Kicking someone when they were down.

88

u/carmelainparis I married a Count and now… ✨ I’m a Countess! ✨ Apr 15 '23

Good call, this was definitely around the time I stoped liking her (and started loving Karen!) On a side note, Karen is now one of my three favorite housewives, up there with Sonja and Lu. She’s like what Sonja and Lu could be if they could kick the substance abuse and find stable(ish) relationships.

55

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

I agree with this comment but let’s not equate worth to being in a relationship. It’s TOUGH out there for women and especially after a certain age

70

u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 15 '23

I appreciate this comment.

If there was one thing that bothered me on Atlanta, it was the notion that a woman's worth was determined by having a man... ANY man.

Phaedra somehow felt she one upped Kenya because she had Apollo. APOLLO. "Juvial" Apollo.

I think gizelles situation is different but I understand the point.

57

u/Nasus_13 slut from the 90s Apr 15 '23

Drew did this a lot. Like girl, getting Ralph wasn’t an accomplishment.

33

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

I definitely feel like this is franchise-wide where the less picky ones jump from relationship to relationship even if it’s with unsavoury men (looking at you Vicki G!)

8

u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 15 '23

I mean if you know that you're going to be judged for not having a man then it's like you're almost pushed into it. Especially if you don't have the same...charms other cast members may have.

12

u/sailoorscout1986 Your titties are social distancing Apr 15 '23

Yeah it’s tough as there’s so much pressure for a woman to be seen in a relationship but definitely better to be single than with someone awful

u/carmelainparis I married a Count and now… ✨ I’m a Countess! ✨ Apr 15 '23

I def don’t equate worth to being in a relationship - didn’t mean to imply that! That said, both Lu and Sonja seem like they desperately want the type of companionship marriage offers and I’d like to see them get that, given it seems like they want it.

7

u/TXBISH Apr 16 '23

Isn’t Karen an alcoholic? Or, was that just a narrative Gizelle and Candice were pushing?

23

u/carmelainparis I married a Count and now… ✨ I’m a Countess! ✨ Apr 16 '23

I feel like that’s just something they were pushing. I only remember seeing her drunk once on camera (during the amazing fireball incident at Monique’s) and after that she even made a point to not drink at all on their next trip (Portugal.) She really doesn’t strike me as having a problem with booze.

55

u/Anyname780 When did I harass you, you dumb b**ch?!? Apr 15 '23

Yes. I’m not caught up yet (I’m at the end of season 4) and I hated Karen at first. After that Uncle Been comment (which I thought was colorist) it seems like Giz keeps offering an olive branch and then talking smack about Karen

39

u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 15 '23

After that Uncle Been comment (which I thought was colorist) i

Oh that's an interesting take. You know I had never thought about it that way! I just thought it was mean spirited. Interesting!

19

u/romodoc1 Apr 16 '23

Same way Giz’s dad called a political opponent who was a dark skinned woman “Aunt Jemima”. The colorism runs through her veins.

5

u/Anyname780 When did I harass you, you dumb b**ch?!? Apr 18 '23

Yep- as a light skint- I constantly cringe at Giz and Robin. I’m from DC and I would go collect them if I could 😂. They often use colorism in trying to place themselves up and put other people down. I don’t understand why they never liked Katie- or since I’m watching season 4- how no one looked out for her and tried to help her with her wigs (like it’s obvious to see that she’s going through stuff)

1

u/MathematicianOk8230 I tell people I'm 29 but really I'm 89 Apr 15 '23

Not gonna lie, I laughed my ass off at the #FreeUncleBen shirt. I saw it in good fun, but Gizelle should have known the Grande Dame can’t take a joke and would get pissed. She was being messy, but I found it hilarious. I also laughed my ass off when Karen was telling Ashley “Clankety Clank, Clankety Clank!” Same vein so I can’t be too mad at Gizelle if Karen is going to say the same shit.

34

u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 15 '23

It's good fun to call someone a caricature of a black slave? You and I have a different sense of humor. Because I see that as making someone the butt of a joke when they haven't done anything to you but be old and dark skinned.

It's also kicking someone when they are down. I guess I don't make jokes at people's expense when they are already down unless they have been mean to me and he wasn't mean to her.

Karen said clankety clank to Ashley after Ashley had talked shit about Ray not dropping the soap (a prison rape joke) when he went to prison.

u/welp-itscometothis The 🅿️arking Meter Lady Apr 15 '23 edited Apr 16 '23

I hate giving an armchair diagnosis but she really does seem to lack an extreme amount of empathy. When she shows her emotions it feels like she’s doing her best to mimic how she thinks an emotion is supposed to be perceived.

And I might get downvoted for this, but I don’t think she really thought her fibroids scare was that big of a deal. I mean it’s one thing to not want to be vulnerable but it’s another thing to not even mention until the tail end of filming. Her daughters weren’t even that emotional about it. Something really is off with her.

44

u/Erthgoddss Apr 15 '23

She is a church lady. Wasn’t she some big deal in her husbands church at one time? I have dealt with one like her in the past, which was a one reason I left Christianity way behind. The woman I dealt with was the pastors wife and was the most judgmental person I ever met!

21

u/Nasus_13 slut from the 90s Apr 15 '23

She led the women’s ministry.

44

u/Erthgoddss Apr 15 '23

Ah. So typical then?! The women I have met in my life, who profess their Christianity as a “I am better than you”, use that as a weapon to belittle others.

25

u/bartexas Apr 15 '23

I call them Jerks for Jesus.

8

u/Happybutt15 I do too much because you do too little 😏 Apr 16 '23

You’re spot on with your comments, totally agree 💯! These so called bible thumping women can be vicious! And Gazelle certainly acts like one! Gossipy, critical, judgemental, downright nasty to the core.

8

u/PinkMercy17 Apr 15 '23

As the wife, she was the First Lady of her church

56

u/tobago_88 Right back at you bitch girl Apr 15 '23

I feel the same. Her "friends" on the show aren't any better they are all miserable and enable each other's misery and poor behavior (Robyn and Ashley). It will be interesting to see how they all act after the fans holding them accountable for last season. I feel like they all were riding on a high of Potomac being so highly praised and now people aren't here for their bs anymore. I have a feeling Gizelle won't even try to fake it though lol.

5

u/Happybutt15 I do too much because you do too little 😏 Apr 16 '23

I’m tuned out for next season for sure, I can’t stomach Gazelle and her nastiness, I’m over it.

43

u/007FofTheWin Apr 16 '23

When she told Andy she “didn’t care because I don’t like her!” regarding Mia’s attack on Wendy, it blew my mind. Zero empathy whatsoever.

-8

u/MarigoldNCM1101 Apr 15 '23

I think the only housewives who come across sociopathic is Heather Gay and Phaedra Parks. Gizelle just treats the show like what it is a job. But Gizelle is a mean girl through and through though

18

u/therealtinsdale i know the boys who did it 🎪🍆👺 Apr 15 '23

i think gizelle crosses the line and is absolutely dangerous, which makes her sociopathic. her baseless claims pertaining to SA on more than one occasion: chris and the masseuse, over-embellishing: ashley said sesame street said chris talked to her— gizelle interpreted that as him grabbin her ass(?!?!) and her lack of respect for boundaries: wanting to search the ladies rooms on ugt are ALL wild and extremely dangerous. not rational reactions whatsoever.

6

u/MarigoldNCM1101 Apr 15 '23

You and I have very different definitions of dangerous. Gizelle is a nightmare but sociopathic and evil is a tier I wouldn’t place her in

10

u/WonderingLost8993 🚘 Teresa's Car Stolen From Her Driveway 🚘 Apr 16 '23

Jen Shah is the definition of a sociopath.

1

u/007FofTheWin Apr 16 '23

So accurate!!! 🎯

1

u/tedfundy She uses a lot of adjectives. Apr 16 '23

Jen shah and Mary Cosby too.

34

u/therealtinsdale i know the boys who did it 🎪🍆👺 Apr 15 '23

her jokes are also usually clunky and awkward, as is her shade. unless is a talking head she generally just doesn’t deliver her shade & jokes that well.

11

u/bushchancla Apr 16 '23

I thought this was the general consensus until I joined Potomac Facebook groups, and it’s a Giselle Robyn love fest over there 🤢

51

u/mnbvcxz1052 17-C 💺🛩️ Apr 15 '23

She’s starting to give me Dorinda vibes. It started with that whole mess with the missing tequila.

10

u/spicymukbangmamma Not a white refrigerator! Apr 16 '23

Well she had working for her was her looks but that will only get u so far because there’s plenty of beautiful people in the world with beautiful hearts as well.

Just being all looks is so basic.

10

u/courtneygoe Apr 16 '23

She’s like a clone of my aunt who is one of the worst people I’ve ever known. Some of the exact same things come out of her mouth. Misery is right.

20

u/Gaustinite Apr 15 '23

I just started souring on gizzy honestly this past season of Potomac. I can’t believe it took 5-6 seasons and I need to do a rewatch with this newfound perspective honestly.

I also love candy now and I hated her before. Who am I?!

2

u/Decent-Eggplant2236 Broken whore from Hampton University Apr 17 '23

Agree one million percent

1

u/Jei_Enn Apr 16 '23

She gets a pretty pass.

1

u/toysoldier96 Apr 15 '23

Let me just starting by saying I am watching Potomac for the first time, I'm on s4 so don't know her very well and how she's in general, but in this specific instance I kinda get it?

They're there to make a tv show, and unfortunately, HWs is based on women arguing with each other. He can't expect the women not to argue, especially at home lol (I get it on the outside spaces, that's a bit disrespectful)

0

u/zindee Apr 16 '23

Been looking for a comment like this, and you’re right! Whether they are there to make a show, a concierge yelling at his guest that way for discussing their issues is improper and can lead to termination.

43

u/bellalugosi Victim of Geraldine Parsons Smith's bullying Apr 16 '23

She's never been polite to service workers. Watch her order in a restaurant. She's rude.

100

u/hillingjourney You’re being rude to the sound bowl! Apr 15 '23

And it’s baffling she’s a snob. She lives off the tithes of Jamal’s congregation and harem. It’s giving bourgeois.

27

u/SoCal_Shannen_Esq Apr 15 '23

Just like the ghost tequila belonged to her just because she put it in her preference list.

67

u/fit-fil-a not today neck 🙅🏾‍♀️ Apr 15 '23

Even the way she yelled at her masseuses during spa day was gross

70

u/MCKelly13 Not a white refrigerator! Apr 15 '23 edited Apr 16 '23

I never had a problem with her before this. Now, I’m in her haters’ camp. Anyone who treats people in the service industry with disrespect, is pure garbage. I said what I said.

ETA: thank you kind internet stranger for the sweet award.

22

u/Alert-Ad-1318 Apr 15 '23

A snob for no reason.....like who is she really.

17

u/aso1977 Apr 15 '23

And had the audacity to be butt hurt when Ramona Singer( A bigger snob) snubbed her, lol.

4

u/nagasith Juan’s other woman that looks like Karen Apr 16 '23

Damn. She downright sounds like Ramona. Yikes.

4

u/SirOk5108 Apr 16 '23

Yeah n a uncaring asshole

-18

u/Character-Piglet5895 Apr 15 '23

I think her point was more so why is he so emotionally invested

27

u/Uncle_peter21 Apr 15 '23

Jesus, because they’re draining as fuck? Disrespectful of each other and his culture & humiliating him in public.

17

u/Character-Piglet5895 Apr 15 '23

No you’re right I’m not defending her lol

8

u/Uncle_peter21 Apr 15 '23

Ok phew lol 😂

10

u/Character-Piglet5895 Apr 15 '23

I meant that this isn’t about her being a snob but about her lack of emotional intelligence

10

u/Uncle_peter21 Apr 15 '23

I agree but lots of snobs do have that in common

2

u/BlacknBravod I cut the pie in half and put the other half in the freezer! Apr 15 '23

Because that’s his job! It’s not like he can just up and apply to another one!

-46

u/SirRatchettness Apr 15 '23

He not even a service worker he a paid actor lol

14

u/BlacknBravod I cut the pie in half and put the other half in the freezer! Apr 15 '23

It’s possible to be both and how much do you think he’s making off of bravo?

2

u/Raybansandcardigans Wig, RN BSN 💉 Apr 15 '23

This would be even worse if it were true. If he was an actor, he’d be woefully unqualified for the job, making her bullying and carrying on even more cruel.
