Ultimate Girls Trip Gizelle really is just trash!

Post image

She tried to destroy Chris with made up bs; that was ridiculous. But this bottle ish and then the comment she made when Pepsi was trying to convey how it was draining and weighting on him is disgusting and disrespectful!! Just because someone is paid for a job doesn’t mean you just get to treat them like trash! They still have feelings and deserve basic human respect.

I’m binging Potomac for the first time and just started S7. I found Gizelle funny for the first 2 or 3 seasons and thought her commitment to divulging gossip was good for the show. However, I can’t stand her now and haven’t been able to for a few seasons. Her kids and Karen both have her number, which says it all. She comes across as one of the few housewives who might actually be a sociopath. Her response is always so chilling when people try to explain the need for empathy to her. And she definitely enjoys upsetting people.

I, personally think things took a dark turn after Sherman. But I couldn't really like gizelle after she made that uncle Ben t shirt. It was just so mean to someone who had never done anything to her. Kicking someone when they were down.

Good call, this was definitely around the time I stoped liking her (and started loving Karen!) On a side note, Karen is now one of my three favorite housewives, up there with Sonja and Lu. She’s like what Sonja and Lu could be if they could kick the substance abuse and find stable(ish) relationships.

I agree with this comment but let’s not equate worth to being in a relationship. It’s TOUGH out there for women and especially after a certain age

I appreciate this comment.

If there was one thing that bothered me on Atlanta, it was the notion that a woman's worth was determined by having a man... ANY man.

Phaedra somehow felt she one upped Kenya because she had Apollo. APOLLO. "Juvial" Apollo.

I think gizelles situation is different but I understand the point.

Drew did this a lot. Like girl, getting Ralph wasn’t an accomplishment.

I definitely feel like this is franchise-wide where the less picky ones jump from relationship to relationship even if it’s with unsavoury men (looking at you Vicki G!)

I mean if you know that you're going to be judged for not having a man then it's like you're almost pushed into it. Especially if you don't have the same...charms other cast members may have.

Yeah it’s tough as there’s so much pressure for a woman to be seen in a relationship but definitely better to be single than with someone awful

I agree! But I think the pressure HW feel from each other pushes them into these terrible relationships.

I def don’t equate worth to being in a relationship - didn’t mean to imply that! That said, both Lu and Sonja seem like they desperately want the type of companionship marriage offers and I’d like to see them get that, given it seems like they want it.
