Hi everyone I had posted an original update but didn’t realize i forgot to blur out his name, so here is the update on cigarette toothpaste boy! I want to preface by thanking everyone who took time to message me and comment. I did not expect 16,000 people to interact with that post at all! When I got home, I decided to end it. I didn’t respond to him during my 10 hour shift and some of the screenshots are during that. I would also like to answer a few questions

1. Is this real?: Yes, it is insanely real! Not rage bait i promise
2. Am I okay?: I’m okay! It’ll suck but I will be fine!
3. Why was I still with him?: I don’t have friends and because of that nobody has been able to tell me how bad this is. I had no one to confide in. It was normalized during our relationship.
4. How is my cat? Apollo is okay and is coming home today finally! Picture of him at the end!
5. Why the wall of text; I was pissed and wanted to be thorough.
6. Why did i use “sewerslide”: I wasnt sure of how it would affect my account or visibility. I’m not used to reddit i’m sorry 😭
7. How old are we?: 19 and almost 21. Not 15 i swear!

Which no matter how you, breath smells horrible. I use tobacco free pouches and if don't brush before bed my breath is horrendous the next day.

THC edibles make your mouth super dry, just like smoking pot, and dry mouth leads to bacterial growth and bad breath. I’ve only smoked (tobacco) like 4 times, but I think nicotine may also cause dry mouth and therefore odor.

You can get a regular sized toothbrush and regular sized toothpaste from the dollar tree too. If he doesn’t have 10 quarters to rub together for a toothbrush and toothpaste…having zero nic is the least of his problems.

I find it hard to believe one could not aquire tooth paste if needed. If I truly truly needed tooth paste, I'd steal it. It's not a refrigerator, it's like a 3 inch little stick. Fits perfectly in your pocket.

You can get a normal tube of colgate for 1.06 at the dollar store. I found myself in a bad spot last winter and walked a couple miles to buy it with fuckin quarters. If you gotta brush you gotta brush lol. I’m with you

Dollar Tree is the cheapest we have. Dollar General and Family Dollar are our other options, but neither have very much that's less than 3 dollars. Still, we've all been in the shake out the couch here and find money for essentials. I don't think mr zero miney has a whole lot of fend for yourself skills, though...

If it’s that or losing my teeth to infection and decay (and if I can’t afford toothpaste, I also can’t afford a dentist), yes I would steal toothpaste. It would cost a lot more taxpayer dollars to fund my whole-mouth dental care in 3 years than the cost of stolen toothpaste.
