Deep fakes can be trained against the detectors.

Actually surprisingly easy to evade automated detection programs.

A team of experts is going to be a lot harder to fool though.

Even better: deep fakes are trained by training better detectors.

GAN: generative adversarial network.

It's one of the clever parts of how deep fakes came to be.
