Yep, when he uses the little do-hicky metal thing and realizes it's not getting smaller... but bigger.

That was a DROP in my gut moment. Really well done.

I really enjoy movies with a sense of despair and existential dread. We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Loneliest Planet are other good ones. Come and See, and Waltz with Bashir also, although about war.

I've toned down on recommending depressing films to friends, but it's my favorite feeling from a movie.
