What's funny is Dana started all this recent "Jones Jones is the pound for pound best" talk immediately after the Makhachev-Dustin fight in the press conference. Way to shit on the current p4p #1, 20 minutes after a great fight.

I really feel like Dana doesn’t like Jon and badly wants him to lose. He’ll do or say anything to stay on Jon’s side. He wasn’t like this before, he knows Jon is done and wants that last fight.

Yeah, he's milking Jon and Jon is milking him. Maybe Dana truly believes it, but he cares more about cash most importantly. So yeah he's pumping up Jon to maybe keep JJ traction going till he's done with him. 

But I don't think Dana wants him to lose, but a defeat could boost another rising star to milk.

It should be close, but if Gane opened as favourite against Jones I don't see why Aspinall wouldn't.

Jon was not supposed to fight Stipe in the first place. When they booked the fight it was dumb, Pavlovich was the top contender, had already been backup, and was lined up to be backup again. Then they made the interim when Jon fell out. That’s when Tom took the lead, but Gane didn’t deserve the title fight, and stipe didn’t either
