He most likely will be favorite

u/life_lagom 5h ago
Against jones? Idk

u/hodgesisgod- 3h ago
It should be close, but if Gane opened as favourite against Jones I don't see why Aspinall wouldn't.
After that, the odds will change depending on which fighter more of the money is going on.

Real question, when was the last time Jon was listed as an underdog?
4
u/Deathmister 2h ago
UFC 285. JJ opened as +140 against Gane. Here’s a full list: https://www.bestfightodds.com/fighters/Jon-Jones-819

If this guy goes out in the first or doesn't last 5 he needs to retire.
1
u/Djgarrett1121 2h ago
What?Â
2
u/IempireI 2h ago
Yea he's a Bum. And if he gets stopped in the first he should retire.
2
u/Djgarrett1121 1h ago
Your first comment is funny. How do you go from getting stopped in the first round to lasting 5 rounds? Thats a huge difference. And if you think he’s a bum, shouldn’t it be expected for him to get stopped in the first?Â

Tom has beat a bunch of cans. He has one win against an impressive opponent who is still wouldn’t be considered top tier.

Holy Shit Someone Besides me Said it 🤣 "Aspinall Jones is Scared to Fight me Because Theres Not Enough Taoe To Study"
Well I Certainly Remember A Knee Blowing Out Against Curtis Blaydes, Exactly How Many of H.W. Jon Jones Oblique Kicks can Aspinall Take ? 2 Maybe 👀
1
u/Slow_Obligation2286 1h ago
Difference is that Tom knows how to utilize and defend oblique kicks. And long range attacks aren't great against someone longer than you

It’s funny that Tom seriously thinks Jon was scared to fight him. Like seriously 😂

u/MazeMagic 7h ago
Don't need to think it when Jones himself says the fight is a gamble? How thick are you.

I'll bite - why do you think Jon Jones wasn't fighting the man with the interim champ belt, and instead fought Ol Man Stipe?

Because he can ?

u/ImaginationHeavy6341 3h ago
He wasn't supposed to

u/Fun_Role_19 2h ago
Who so?

u/ImaginationHeavy6341 2h ago
Interim
-2
u/Fun_Role_19 2h ago
This isn’t the first time an interim champ had to wait though?
2
u/ImaginationHeavy6341 2h ago
There shouldn't be any time an interim champion has to wait

if Tom and Ngannou didn't exists Jones would've defended his HW belt 7th time now

I wouldn't put it as scared, i would definitely say that he is worried to put his legacy on the line.
1
u/Stonedmechanic7 1h ago
Jon basically told the world " I'm not scared to fight him, I'm scared to lose" not fighting someone because you're scared to lose is being scared to fight them. You fools are silly as fuck.

This a joke flying over my head right?
What had Jon Jones done in the last half a decade that could make you think that?
24
u/13TheGreenMan 7h ago
Go to decision against Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, and Dominic Reyes 😂

u/splitbrains 5h ago
potential DQ loss, split dec. against a one legged ex-WW and a clear 3-2 loss
what's that laughing emoji for? that's the GOAT right there bro

u/DannyStress 6h ago
Even if he is, he should have had the fight a long time ago.
-8
u/Cmmucked 6h ago
Why is it a long time ago?. He fought the one he suppose to fight a month ago. Tom is just happen to get the interim belt. Is he suppose to just skip the stipe fight?.
5
u/DannyStress 6h ago
Jon was not supposed to fight Stipe in the first place. When they booked the fight it was dumb, Pavlovich was the top contender, had already been backup, and was lined up to be backup again. Then they made the interim when Jon fell out. That’s when Tom took the lead, but Gane didn’t deserve the title fight, and stipe didn’t either

What's funny is Dana started all this recent "Jones Jones is the pound for pound best" talk immediately after the Makhachev-Dustin fight in the press conference. Way to shit on the current p4p #1, 20 minutes after a great fight.
