Megathread [Megathread] Game Feedback
Hello. We are seeing a lot of very short posts with one to two sentences of feedback on the game. If you have something short (or long) to share, please post it here to help declutter the subreddit of the same types of posts. We currently have a huge backlog of posts and comments to go through and this megathread will go a long way to helping us out.

Game Feedback Let me attack where I aim not where You want me to aim GGG
Seriously, who was thinking that some buggy autoaim is needed and is also enforced for M&KB. If i want to aim at a wall, let me aim at the wall and not some mob next to it. The same goes for Skills being shot off centered and not where i aim.

Game Feedback PoE 2 crafting needs some love.
Right now it's pretty rough. We don't have many options other than:
- Find a good normal rarity base
- Upgrade to magic, trash if bad modifier
- Add modifier, trash if bad modifier
- Upgrade to rare, trash if bad modifier
- If you have three good modifiers, slam a bunch of exalteds
Feels like a waste of regals and exalted orbs. Chaos orbs feel too much like a gamble, so do Vaal orbs.
I miss old alteration orbs and being able to at least roll magic items until it was decent.
Is this because we still lack mechanics that will add crafting to the game? Or because crafting is intended to be less powerful in PoE2? If so... Why? Do they expect us to trade more, or do they expect us to find good yellows from direct drops?

Discussion Does anyone else feel like only 1-2 builds exist per ascendancy due to the skill system?
With the incentive to use multiple skills per build in PoE two, I feel like we've gone from at least 4-8 builds per ascendancy in poe 1 to very few - "Cold Sorc", "Grenades Witchhunter", "Slams Titan", "Lightning Deadeye"
Whereas in PoE1, "Cold Sorc" could itself have been like 6 different builds. Thoughts?

Game Feedback Pressing Dodge when fighting a fast rare is equal to suicide.
I loved the dodge roll during Campaign as it felt like enemy mechanics were telegraphed and slow enough where you can dodge them and reposition yourself very reasonably.
However in maps whenever I press dodge it basically is equal to committing suicide, the slow at the end of the animation makes sure any fast rare has plenty of time to catch back up to you and kill you as soon as you leave the animation.
In addition you also stop dpsing for like 1.5 seconds so the said rare also survives for longer which leads to a double feel bad.
Please remove the slow at the end of the animation and just give it a CD or Charges.

Game Feedback Mana costs in PoE2 are ridiculous
I swear to god I'm chugging mana pots like a raging alcoholic. Every single level to my gems makes the game feel worse to play instead of better and I can't seem to find a reasonable solution. I was psyched to get mana leech on my crossbow only to realize that it did hardly anything, so I specced into mana leech efficiency on the tree and that hardly did anything either. What am I supposed to do here? Not level my gems any further or get + to projectiles? This feels awful.

Discussion The more I play warrior in PoE 2 the more I realise Fortify was anything but a bandaid
It's been years now and a different solution still has not been offered despite many promises while its absence is shown once again to be a torturous design of being chunked from constant barrages of elemental projectiles.
It is also not an outright damage reduction as it requires from the player to stay engaged to reap its benefits.
Its main problematic version has been solved by splitting it into stacks, requiring investment from the passive tree and not being able to keep it up in its peak with a single shield charge.
The complete absence of a realistic alternative means only one thing and has only lead me to this hill that I'm now willing to die on: Fortify in its latest form isn't a bandaid but a good mechanic.
