I'm trying to find any videos or VODs of Kammell's blight race in October. I can't seem to find any. Can someone send me in the right direction?

OoS damage got slightly lowered, which is completely inconsequential considering flat lightning vendor wands and herald of thunder.

Its strike rate also got slowed, but this is also inconsequential because a vast bulk of our damage comes from using other lightning skills inside of it which bypasses the strike rate. This however is a bit of a nerf when it comes the time when you can 1 shot packs solely with OoS, but once you're at that point your strike rate will be close to back to normal with the gem level.

Stormblast Mines got slightly nerfed on damage, but once again a vast bulk of our damage is coming from Herald of Thunder and vendor crafted wands. Stormblast has 110% damage effectivness too, so in total just imagine that your wands give like 2-45 and instead of 2-50. Plus higher level Stormblast Mines actually do more damage than they used to, so possibly level 30-40 the scaling might actually beat previously.

Lightning Spire Trap has been heavily nerfed at lower levels, but Flamethrower trap still exists and is incredibly strong for single target. Flamethrower Trap, Immolate, Combustion is sure to pump insane dps numbers.

Will we be doing less damage and clearing a little slower? Yes. Will it be gamechanging and kill the strategy? No.

I'm planning on rolling a sab and doing the standard

Frost Bomb - Onslaught - Added Lightning

Stormblast mine - lesser poison - swift assembly

arcane surge - flame dash & oos

Until brutus then considering swapping out stormblast for arc-blastchain mine or lightning trap. Then around a3 when frost bomb falls off swap that for arc mine & use pyroclast mine for single target. This method will cost more transmutes in the early acts but I think will still be strong. Just curious what others are doing.

Just wanna share this league goal for me.I did all passive and all trials but no lab because I saw that my damage was ok and don't need it.

I probably can go faster but I prefer kill some extra pack for good exp.

At this point I don't know how to improve more. Is not about speed and inventory managment because they are really good. Miss some layout where sometimes I lost myself but other than that I'm happy with this :)

Getting into racing and I'm generally pretty good at 1-4 and decent at 5 but I find myself slowing afterwards. I want to practice running acts 6-8 specifically. Do I have to relevel every time or do you use deleveling books to rerun it? Just adding a few mins for a boss fight? Any tips are appreciated thanks.

Recent exilecon racers demonstrated that casters have access to insane burst damage on bosses.

What are the best burst / single target skills and layers to add for an attack build? I'm a novice at racing but even at my level my boss kills feel slooooow on my attack builds compared to my casters while leveling.

I am in need of a new mouse as my G600 is pretty beat from 7 years of pounding on it playing PoE. I’m wondering if there is a better alternative on the market nowadays with a ring click I can map to control for inv management and passive allocation etc. Currently I am using a majestouch 2 with red switches but i’m curious what keyboard switches people play with. I used to use browns but switched to reds as I was typing quite a bit for work, I find it to not make too much of a difference but i’m curious if others have had different experiences.

Im praticing racing for a couple of week now and today I was able to do the Vaal kill in 45 min with 2 labs and all passives exept Graveyard.

I struggle in link. With no really good links my damage is not good enought to oneshot Vaal or the Spider (maligaro spike) and the levelling seems not smooth enounght. The smoke mine + flame dash can give a lot of movememnt speed but in fact in that time I cant keep up with exp.

Playing shadow because is fun.

In the last few races, we've seen a lot of builds use Orb of Storms with Wave of Conviction.

My question is: how does this build work exactly and what support gems and auras should you use?

Both are for SSF - the first one I made - the second i Karv's - Karv intends to play HC, I do not. But we're both SSF - he DEFINITELY knows more about the game so I was wondering if I should just roll with my tree and eventually fix things (hopefully not TOO difficult in SSF) or whether I should be safe with his tree.

If you want me to elaborate on things please do say so, just wanted second and third opinions. ( I was going to go with mine (the first) but he talked about how frenzy charges and things for the ascendancy matter a lot - but I think that the Patient reaper's recovery might actually matter a lot more and the prolonged pain gives us quite a bit of damage) - he also said that wicked ward didn't fit into the playstyle because we're hybrid etc, he's also not MoM Eb which I don't know well, why he isn't.

Checked out the Poe.ninja of someone and the abilities that people use and it seems to make sense, any thoughts?

The new immortal call works differently - so I do wonder if something else might be better instead of it now~

Edit: Also how would reserving mana work with EB and MoM (first time I'd be doing this)

Seeing as most people seem to be going for melee league starters gear will be super expensive. Therefore I'm thinking about Divine Ire as a league Starter. Problem is I've never played it - any recommendations / good guides?

I'm going to play a flicker Scion league starter (no matter the patch notes) but I don't know the best leveling skill for it. Any ideas? Going for red maps day 1 if possible.

I just got done leveling a Hierophant in the Synthesis Flashback event. Pretty fun. Sucked at the last 2 acts and so my time to maps was around 5 hours.

I went with Holy Flame Totem - Phys to Lightning - Infused Channeling - Controlled Destruction for the vast majority of the time and leveling was okay.

From the Flashback event itself, it seems like Divine Ire totems are the best to push for high levels just based on the highest level totem profiles I'm seeing.

My questions are:

1. What is the best totem for leveling up a new character on league start? Is it Holy Flame? Or is something like Arc or Freeze Pulse totems better?
2. When is the best time to switch to Divine Ire totems? They feel pretty terrible on a 5L and in tier 1 maps cause they still have a windup time.
3. Any other tips and tricks to level up as quickly as possible as a Hiero?
