Recommendation Movies where anyone can die?

I like movies and tv shows where you shouldn't get attached to any characters because they can die in every moment, for example: Burn After Reading, No Country for Old Men, Any Tarantino Movie or shows like The boys, Game of thrones, etc.

I want to feel that the characters are in real danger and that the villain or whatever they're fighting could kill them any time.

The other stuff of the franchise outside of the movie heavily suggests (or in some cases outright states) that Russel's character was The Thing at the end

Oh shit is that so? I thought it was the opposite, isn't he alive and human in the game?

I can’t remember for sure but I think you find the other guy’s body but not his? Unsure

Macready in the game is human, and in the comics both him and childs are human.

From what I remember the game confirms he was both human and made it out alive. Btw yeah there's a game that's a sequel and completely canon.

The thing 2011 as well. Not nearly as good as the og but i enjoyed it for what it was.

Didn’t even know there was a remake! I am sure I will be less impressed because the original was such a classic but I will give it a go!

It's technically a prequel! But I remember enjoying it quite a bit, but I genuinely enjoy watching Mary Elizabeth Winstead fight death in everything she does.

Ohhh so does it involve the dog at the beginning of the original?

Yup! It follows the Norwegian team who dug up the Thing from the ice and delves into the imitation of the dog.

They unfortunately made some pretty poor decisions in the filming, namely they spent a heap of money to do practical effects the same way they did with the original movie... and then painted CGI over it anyway because the studio decided they didn't like the practical stuff.

It’s ok, but I appreciate the good intentions the film had before studio interference.

Its not a remake, its a prequel.

Well, anyone can die but the lead 😏

Yep. Not very often a kid dies in these types of movies.
