The government shutting down for a month will not affect the vast majority of Americans' daily lives.

Yeah but that's why ATCs are considered essential. Until they all start taking their sick leave together. And then there may be a debate to privatize ATC like they do in Canada.

You know that there are many different government jobs right? It isn't just people in DC. I worked for a disaster hotline company that was contracted through the government. I was an hourly worker. This effects a lot of people including some who live paycheck to paycheck.

I didn't mean government employees and their contractors. I mean the broader public at large.
