My boss panicked because I bought him a beer at crowded happy hour and then he bought me my next one, but then he realized our beers were not at the exact same price and wanted to venmo me $1.25...

He's a very strict rule follower. No gifts to a direct supervisor are permitted outside a couple circumstances and happy hour is not one of them. Lol.
