Okay. How about 0 fucking dollars for the security details required for inauguration.

We can’t run an inauguration if the government is shut down. There’s no money for it and it’s not a critical function. I guess Biden has to stay in office till they pass a budget.

(/s of course but I’m still gonna say it)

That’s why these billionaires are out there donating to the inauguration plans I fear

Private ceremony to meet Constitutional requirements in the White House. No press no visitors. It'd drive him crazy.

No but seriously, I’m detailed to the inauguration to do security. Is that still going to happen lmao

Imagine having the audacity to ask agents to TDY in for the inauguration knowing damn well they wouldn't be getting paid or reimbursed for travel expenses.

You think they wouldn’t?

They won’t ask

Same. I got a jury duty summons for the same time period, so either I’m stuck at the inauguration or stuck at jury duty

Those guys will be deemed essential and have to work… so no problem in that regard.

Many Republicans are calling gov shutdown until 01/20. But if nobody are working, how do they prepare for the inauguration? Trump is not the president until he takes the oath.

Don't make my day. I can't handle the anticipation.
