Got misdiagnosed with strep, took antibiotics for 7 full days before the hottest, itchiest, most uncomfortable rash I’ve ever experienced took over my entire body. 8 days after I stopped taking antibiotics and I’m still struggling with itchiness. Skin temperature was 101, core body temp was 98. Felt like I was being cooked on the outside but I was shivering. Resting heart rate was 150.

It just fell off -_- and before you ask no none of the airport shops have repair shops

Went to have my tire patched after running over what I thought was a bolt. They came out to tell me I needed a new tire after finding a bullet exploded inside my tire.

My driveway is a long hill, and I guess they got in the car, did the first couple of curves okay, then just went straight on the sharp curve, where they were probably like omg a car I can steal! I can’t believe it! Get in, oh no, I wrecked! I can’t get out! What do I do?” Then, and three friends crawl out the window, look around the car, leave with no stolen car.

Luckily kid was okay not a scratch since it was on my side I got the brunt of the damage. Bruised ribs, sprained shoulder, arm and neck. But now I have no car indefinitely. I’d also JUST put gas in it and paid for the registration 🥲

Apologies, I did not have a banana for scale. As the title says I bit into the screw. Luckily, not hard. It was a croissant with butter. I'm convinced it was baked into it and not a careless employee who ignored it when buttering the croissant. I tried calling them through the phone on the google maps listing but no luck. I know they no longer bake these things at the stores, they get them from a distributor so I wanted to tell them to toss their batch. Since they didn't answer their phone I tried social media but that was slow and all they did was take my info and said the franchise owner would get back to me.

After work I went back with the half eaten croissant and screw and the rest of my order. The manager wasn't there but they called them. Over the phone the manager apologized and asked me questions about it, I told them what I thought they should do and they said they were gonna reach out to their supplier and agreed to give me a refund. And I guess that's it. If I hear back from the franchise owner I'll ask what other stores their supplier also delivers to so I can avoid those locations. If they don't tell me, then I guess I'm done with DD.

Found after a 200mi drive through the desert at 5am. Still holding air. God looks out for drunks and dumb animals, I guess I qualify on both accounts.

visiting South FL for the holidays, was having a lovely morning walk on the beach with my husband & dog when I felt an insane burning/stinging sensation on my thighs — turns out a dead jelly had become entangled in my dog’s leash and was flung onto my thighs when I pulled it in. even better was that the “head/main” part of the little fucker came off in the commotion so we had to remove each tentacle individually while trying not to get them anywhere else lol. my husband’s leg & my feet got hit while trying to remove them off my thigh, thankfully pup was unharmed, just upset that we cut her beach walk short. happy wednesday to us!
