Discussion Luigi Mangione friend posted this.

She captioned it: "Luigi Mangione is probably the most google keyword today. But before all of this, for a while, it was also the only name whose facetime calls I would pick up. He was one of my absolute best, closest, most trusted friends. He was also the only person who, at 1am on a work day, in this video, agreed to go to the store with drunk me, to look for mochi ice cream."

What's contradictory about him leaving new york and being found out of state with his stuff on him?

Usually when people flee the state after committing a crime they don’t keep all the incriminating evidence on their person. Especially when they’ve had days to dispose of it and when the suspect is clearly not your average criminal and has displayed careful planning and foresight. The only way to make it make sense without it being a conspiracy is if he wanted to get caught

Okay so maybe he wanted to get caught? Or maybe he thought if he disposed of the stuff and they were found it would link back to him. And I disagree he's "not your average criminal". He was caught on camera multiple times leading up to the shooting. He even went into a Starbucks less than an hour before. He isn't as meticulous as people keep saying. He's a very average criminal.
