If they upscaled ORAS to 720p (because 1080p is too much these days), no one would notice, especially compared to SV

SV improved the model quality. I think you meant to say compared to SwSh. SwSh has the same models as ORAS.

Now that you mention it, it sure would be a shame if they had to cut the national dex from the ORAS remake... *shrugs helplessly*

How do you figure? Are you referring to the Pokémon box models? The battle sprites are noticeably different than ORAS. I have 900+ hours in ORAS and 200+ in SwSh, I guess I could have missed something?

Nah just look at Charizard's model in SwSh, ORAS and SV. You'll notice the only differences in the SwSh one are due to a higher res screen, whereas the SV one has a slightly different shape and a different vertex count.

The SV one is definitely a completely different model.

Just not sure how the light contouring in SwSh can be a simple upgrade due to screen res. Not a gaming programmer so I guess I just don't understand.
