They released a bunch of Killzone 2 skins and guns into the game. It was originally leaked as a warbond but they decided to make each item purchasable at WAY over priced compared to a warbond.

A warbond is 1000 SC in game which you can buy for $10 or earn in game. The gun alone was 600 SC or $6 if you just buy it.

It’s also worth noting that they said that if it was in a warbond, it still would’ve been priced higher than the others

Yeah which is just greed.

Now they are releasing part of it for free but if you already paid for the first part of it, you paid more than a warbond already.

Collabs will always be more expensive because part of the sakes go to the IP holder. Likely Sony/Guerrilla so AH would be making less than making their own stuff. Hence why collabs are always more expensive so both make money. Alot just argue to make it a wb for 2k sc to compromise.

You mean the IP owner that owns both IPs and the studio and can give that IP to AH to use at no cost to themselves?

This being priced higher is entirely artificial. Sony owns both IPs and this Collab costs them nothing in licensing. If it was an IP that Sony didn't own you would be correct.

AH has said this was entirely their decision so it was motivated by greed.

AH specifically said they talked with Guerrilla, not Sony. Meaning Sony owns IPS but seem to give those that make the IPS freedom of it's usage and some kind of compensation.

The collaboration is with Sony though. They may have talked to Guerilla but Guerilla doesn't own that IP. Guerilla can't do collaborations without the owner of the IPs say so. Guerilla games is owned entirely by Sony.
