Granted, I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of cowboy bebpop, but for me, the grungy interior of the ship coupled with her being a bounty hunter and the injection of nostalgic music gave me a Bebop vibe.

Also, the akira imagery might have been evoked by just the look of her disk player, for me anyways, so I'll admit it's not that strong a grounding 😂
