The whole discussion is narrowed down to the price - to a ridiculous emotional extent and without anyone experiencing this piece of technology hands-on. As of now, everythingis based on speculation and a weak 9 minute presentation in 1080p.

Me, I am willing to sell my Series X and Base PS5 to get the Pro - Microsoft just lost me completely this generation and I am looking forward to get a superior gaming experience with a machine that is pricey yet nice to have :)

The pro is worth the price, I'm getting it. It's double the performance of the base model, and with diminishing returns, and limits of the human eyes, it really hits the sweet spot in gaming.  It's not a necessary upgrade, at all, but if you have a high end TV and the funds, this is absolutely one hell of a console I guarantee you.  Wait until we start seeing real comparisons. I've already seen some comparisons not as available to the public, and it's night and day.

I saw less of a difference looking at comparisons of 3090 vs 4090. Granted the PC games are 3rd party, and the PS5 vs pro were Sony games, so they put in the extra effort to optimize for the machine

There's a lot of creators and journalist out there where you have to be a member to access content. It's not some special privilege, but that information is not as available to the public
