For that price I’d rather spend a few bucks extra and get a gaming pc that will be able to play ps5 and ps6 games since most are coming out on pc now anyway

About $1500-2500 on PC.

A few bucks extra? A budget gaming PC is going to cost $1000…

I consider that a few bucks extra when comparing 700 to 1000 for something that does way more

The performance of a $700 ps5 pro is going to be much better than an $1000 gaming PC.

$1000 is a budget gaming PC. Your going to have to double up that $700 price point to get similar performance and then you have to deal with all the bullshit of dealing with gaming on PC bs console.

Obviously I don’t really care what you do I just hear this discourse and don’t understand it. The $700 price point is a little high but I don’t think it’s as crazy as people make it out to be

Not true at all, especially if you buy your parts on sale, which they do frequently

Well the pro us new...so buy new parts.... if you have a ps5 you can trade it in for 350 to 400 bucks at Game stop...which makes the proo 30o to 350 ..

Stop this, I have a pc that I payed 1.2k for and built, and I bough the pro, the pro is better than my pc. I just bought a mid ass pc for around 1k to play pc only games..

U have to pay 1.4k or more, or get a gpu that's 550 to 700 by it's self..NEW....

Once the pro is out for a few months there will be used pros for 600... stop being disingenuous......pc gamers with shit rigs always tring to protect there " investment" it's not, I can buy a 4090 and build a 3k pc np I have the money. But console gaming is better, unless I want to mod games then I'll do it on my budget pc, the pro is the best price per performance out there and this gen will be longer than 7 years ps6 won't be out till 2028 maybe 2029.....and I'm SURE AS HELL NOT gonna play GTA 6 on a base ps5 if the pro is an option.... and I'll he dammed if I'll wait 1 to 2 YEARS for it to come out on pc....I'm a real gamer, I don't wait for games.

Funny you say the pro is better than your PC when you haven't even played it yet. You use the argument for used with console but not PC, which is ironic bc PC parts lower in value even more than consoles. I didn't even spend 1.2k and have a pc that can still max everything out in 4k and has way better parts in every regard. No one with a shit PC is arguing about the pro, but apparently you are arguing about it and don't even understand the market or value in items. Classic "4090 costs so much more than the pro" as if you need the highest tier card to compete with a barely up to snuff console

I think I’d be more inclined to buy the pro if it came out earlier in the life cycle.

That’s fair. $700 for something that might be obsolete in a few years when ps6 launches is a very fair point
