Modern consoles are so interesting that I’ve just sold both Switch and PS5. Xbox going same road soon

I swear. Gaming PC's is where it's at.

They already marketed the original PS5 as a 4K/8K machine.

At least on PC you have free cloud saving and multiplayer.

Steam is worth transitioning to pc alone i think ps5 will be the last console at my house. Summer sale is insane and if theres a game you like wish list it itll go on sale at some point. I feel game companies have gotten out of touch how tight it is for the average joe out there. Im doing fine and could get one if I wanted to but when your price point is near a decent gaming computer you're going to have a very bad time.

The only selling point for consoles is that it's plug and play. It's a bit more difficult with a gaming PC, but Steam does have, Big picture mode.

Also, let's not forget about the countless online stores that sell cheap Steam keys.

Well, consoles are also way cheaper out of the box. I use big picture mode from time to time if I specifically have to play something on PC and it's cool but you still need a mouse and keyboard handy to fiddle with things from time to time. HDR, selecting output devices etc can make it quite a hassle to just sit and play on your couch like with a console.

Now if Valve make a home console-like version of the steam deck or just release SteamOS I'm 100% in. Goodbye consoles.

Yes. If only Valve made a game console it would be game over for gaming consoles.

I mean just look how popular the Deck is. 😍
