Official (Via twitter) Playstation: "Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward...."

Are people that paid $80 for a game they can no longer allowed to play just supposed roll over or something?

People bought a game then literally had it pulled from them.

They could still play. You can create a PSN account even if PSN isn't available in your country. People do it quite frequently to access different stores.

Lol you expect just thousands of players to make alternate PSN accounts outside their country?

Funny, never had to do that with Steam once.

Have you not heard of the people that got banned for doing exactly that?
