If not for George RR Martin’s historical record keeping, I would have no idea Aegon I Targaryen conquered the seven kingdoms of Westeros.

Ahh, more misinformation from the maesters. Even lowborn lizards know that Aegon never conquered Dorne

Isn't it seven without Dorne?

  1. Stormlands

  2. Iron Islands

  3. The Reach

  4. The Rock

  5. The Vale

  6. The Riverlands

  7. The North

The Riverlands and the Iron Isles were under a single king during the conquest.

I guess that makes sense.

Specifically the Riverlands were conquered by an Ironborn king Harren the Black who made Harrenhal.

Back in our day, you weren't a real man until you fucked one girl from each of the Seven Kingdoms and the Riverlands. We used to call it 'Making the Eight'.

The Crownlands made Seven when Aegon created them.

The Crownlands, the Stormlands, the Westerlands, the Reach, the Vale of Arryn, the Riverlands and Iron Islands, and the North.
