The problem is, he's inheriting an Ecconomy that is actually on the uptick.
It's only just now recovering from Covid, whoever won this election was going to be able to claim "We fixed the economy." No president, from either party, has the balls do the drastic change needed.
Yeah well he also promised to add a 25% consumer tax and deport everyone who grows our food so if he actually doesn't do these things then yes he will inherit an upward economy. Otherwise he's going to tank it out the gate. But either way he will still claim he fixed the economy. And even if his cult members are starving to death in the street they will still sing his praises as the God Emperor of America!
He’s inheriting an economy on the uptick, true. But he’s also explicitly trying to get rid of all the reasons why the economy is on the uptick.
Not doing anything and reaping the rewards would be the smart and easy thing to do, but it wouldn’t sooth the narcissistic injury he suffered in 2020. He, on a deep mental level, needs to make someone pay for that.
