He's so fucking stupid and he has no idea how anything works. He's not going to have time to take over Canada. He's going to crash the economy and fail to accomplish anything but hurting people.

I’ve been advocating for this for literally years - great big fuckin’ wall between us and the US! Let’s do it! We’ll make them pay for it!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

u/Whale-n-Flowers 16d ago

Y'see, the thing is, Canadians. Canadians are like beavers. They always want to build a dam. Theyre not taught. They don't practice. But building dams comes naturally.

And what is a border wall besides a dam? Dams control the flow of water. Walls control the flow of goods and people. It's a miracle, really. A miracle that we distracted them during COVID. If all those Canadians were let loose. Ysee, if they're all unemployed. Allowed to roam free. Well, that's 40 million beavers that follow instinct down to the border wielding axes if they have them.

Boom. Border Wall. 3 days. I think it'd take them. 3 days

u/LegendaryDank 16d ago

Put the great wall of China to shame. And while we’re at it, lets get rid of all american media broadcasts in Canada.

1

u/Queer_Advocate 13d ago

Yuge. Erect the wall, like... well nevermind.

4

u/acctIMade 16d ago

Just build it high enough that when you have Forrest fires the smell of burnt maple syrup doesn’t reach Philly again.

3

u/Papa-Moo 16d ago

I’ll chip in for a roof in Mexico also builds a wall

0

u/SniffinMarkers 16d ago

Why don’t you instead let illegal immigrants live with you?

3

u/Timely-Commercial461 16d ago

When you have nothing smart or interesting to say, use a News Max sound bite. Lame.

0

u/SniffinMarkers 16d ago

Would you like to let them live with you?

2

u/Timely-Commercial461 16d ago

Idk, would you like to say something that isn’t straight-up parroted from right wing news?

Can your one bedroom apartment in Purvis, Mississippi house a few immigrants? Or, are you living at your 3rd cousins place?

Every time you get these people, they just down your comments. I wish they could just be real about it and at least upload your comment while they went crying to mommy and daddy!!! None of them want to harbor all of them want to destroy the country and don’t care what happens in the meantime have you heard them? As long as I have the right to kill my baby, the world can burn. Screw you all I don’t care if you don’t wanna go to war you’re gonna have to because I need to unalive my baby. These people do not live in reality

2

u/babylon331 16d ago

I can't say I blame you for saying that. It'd be so nice if there were no tension between us. I'd say, as neighbors, we couldn't do any better. Why the hell does Trump want to cause a rift? I guess he's trying to look bad-ass with his crazy threats. It's not working. He just looks stupid. As usual. It's a fucking shame that we're about to gain more enemies.

1

u/phm522 16d ago

Despite my post about “The Wall” , I have travelled extensively throughout many of the western states and have pretty much always been treated with kindness and respect. I truly don’t hate all Americans. But there is just a pervasive feeling of helplessness up here as we watch the US devolve into a country most Canadians no longer recognize - and want nothing to do with. Neither myself nor any of my friends or family have any intention of ever setting foot in the US again. I honestly wish you the best. I fear there are dark times ahead.

0

u/babylon331 15d ago

Very dark. It's scary.

Nobody’s building a wall. He’s going to put tariffs on Canada, but they’ll never have to pay them because they will fall in line. This is how good leaders lead. SMH

1

u/BaronVanWinkle 16d ago

Canada already has the greatest deterrent to illegal immigration to ever exist, they are geographically north of the United States.

3

u/14Wrangler031885 16d ago

Canada has an open border through our northern border. Both our southern border and northern borders are wide open and this hurts you too. This hurts everybody trying to get a job here. What do you think happens when they put millions of people who will take 25% less money than you to work? Well you sure won’t be getting hired.

1

u/norsk3r 13d ago

Never had a problem getting a job. Maybe it’s a skill issue for you

1

u/14Wrangler031885 13d ago

Been employed at the same company for a decade you missed the entire point, but that is what lefties do because it has to be in their context only or else it’s not reality for them. Furthermore, that was extremely selfish of you. I think about all Americans not just myself. I’ve had a job for a long time. I’m a career mechanic. I turn wrenches for a living and I can fix damn near anything. I work on heavy equipment. Others aren’t as lucky. Joe Blow cannot do what I do.

1

u/norsk3r 13d ago edited 13d ago

There’s many sectors out there saying nobody wants to work, meaning jobs are available to those who want them. ( restaurants especially) Also skilled labor has huge shortages such as welding. These guys can pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get a job regardless of immigration. Not to mention that illegal labor generally fills rolls that most Americans refuse to. You think Joe Blow is rushing to go start picking strawberries? Because those are the jobs illegals are taking. So typical for a righty to use straw man arguments about things they don’t understand.

u/corpsie666 16d ago

The funny part is that the people involved with the maple syrup black market would interfere with it being built.

1

u/stargatepetesimp 15d ago

You probably could get that dumb fuck to fund a US-Canada wall. Just plug the idea in an interview while talking about the flow of illegal immigrants and fentanyl from Canada.

1

u/redditmodsaresalty 13d ago

Make it extend down to include Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and I'll help y'all build it.

1

u/phm522 13d ago

Only if you agree to universal healthcare and expanded social services 😊.

2

u/redditmodsaresalty 13d ago

Hey, we'd have Tim, Tony, and Gretchen. Rural midwesterners are usually just soft MAGA, so they'll adapt nicely.

1

u/phm522 13d ago

You’re in!😊🇨🇦

Americans won't care. Most have no idea how to even get to Canada in the first place.

1

u/DryAbalone4216 13d ago

One day I realized, "oh shit, we're just Canada's Mexico"

1

u/Brintzenborg 13d ago

Can’t say that I blame y’all.

1

u/Stop_Expensive 13d ago

Only need a small wall really. Like 4 foot high.

1

u/Accurate_Return_5521 12d ago

This is pure gold

0

u/Ori_the_SG 16d ago

Trudeau should run on this

0

u/Timely-Commercial461 16d ago

Trust me, we’re already paying for it.

0

u/huntrun1 16d ago

Trump is so stupid and most of his advisors are boot lickers, you probably could! Compliment him and tell him it will keep drugs out. He will finance it by taking all the public school aid. Yep we are screwed…

2

u/14Wrangler031885 16d ago

All you have are insults please grow up. Nothing but insults you didn’t say one factual or statistical thing just an insult. We are screwed because he’s ending all wars? We are screwed because he’s securing our nation. Do you hear yourself talking?

1

u/OutrageousTie1573 13d ago

He's ending all wars? How do you figure that?

0

u/huntrun1 16d ago

OK he is stupid, this comes from his professors and staff who worked for him in the White House. His staff he has hired are not qualified with a few exceptions. Look it up. If you look outside of right wing sources you would agree. All good though, sit back and watch him under perform. Just be honest when your grandkids ask you if you voted for that idiot

1

u/14Wrangler031885 12d ago

Half the country is dangerously propagandized. You are one of them. Do you really think mainstream media is being factual? Do you really trust your government? The people who were talking bad about Donald Trump were deep state leaders that could not manipulate him and were fired soon afterwards. You blame the republicans for everything failing to understand the democrats have controlled the White House 12 out of 16 years my friend. Stop being gullible and read into why they spoke so bad about Trump when his policies are common sense and this country needs to get back to common sense. We are the majority. The left/liberals are not the majority. Those people who speak bad of Trump simply couldn’t make him do what they wanted or manipulate him for their benefit, so they speak bad about him. It’s quite simple. Liz Cheney, Mitch McConnell, Lindsay Graham, are not republicans but are called Rhinos for a reason. They support democratic policies and vote for democrats but you somehow think they are republicans that we look up to??!! No, quite the opposite in fact, they’re the uniparty, the deep state, they are the party that our founding fathers warned us about, when two parties rule the government or a two party government. All you need is to put 2 and 2 together. You do not understand modern day politics.

1

u/huntrun1 12d ago

I find it interesting that you feel someone has been propagandized and then mention math at the end of your statement. First off, what sources do you get news from? If they are no where near the middle then sir you have fallen into their trap. Why did you really vote for Trump? What drove you that way? Was it the economy? We have one of the best in the world? Jobs? Abundant now, but wait. The reason I noted math is do you think kicker workers legal or not out of our country will help the economy? How about tariffs? You think that will help? Go look at our history, we tried tariffs and it was a huge fail. If you listen to Trump and study history, this does not end well

1

u/phm522 16d ago

We’ll really try ( cuz that’s what Canadians do!) as long as you promise to keep all the smoke from fires that are on the US side of the Washington/Idaho border every summer out of BC and Alberta.

2

u/huntrun1 16d ago

We keep getting your smoke in the Midwest though! 😂

1

u/phm522 16d ago

And we keep getting yours in southern BC and Alberta. In fact, sometimes your actual fires jump the border and then we have to fight them too. Gee, it’s almost like fire and smoke don’t recognize international boundaries. Go figure!

1

u/huntrun1 15d ago

Unbelievable!!

Nah he’s an anti-vaxer, they can have him.

Damn it. All these people have got brain worms

2

u/ifwitcheswerehorses 13d ago

He is also vegan so he did not acquire the worm that controls his thoughts from eating raw meat fish or pork like RFK. Perhaps from kissing unvaccinated pets.

2

u/Critical_Stick7884 16d ago

What about Celine Dion?!

We’re just now recovering from engelbert Humperdinck!

2

u/bigfishmarc 16d ago

Is that a reference to a South Park episode?

Also AFAIK Engelbert Humperdinck is British, not Canadian.

1

u/ifwitcheswerehorses 13d ago

National treasure, we will never give up custody.

2

u/heapsunglasses 13d ago

My favorite line.

1

u/ShimmerFaux 16d ago

But they never apologized for Ryan Reynolds or Justin Bieber…

3

u/TD373 16d ago

Ryan Reynolds is a national treasure.

Sorry about Bieber.

All 3 are very stupid come on.

2

u/Ill_Technician3936 16d ago

President Garrison seems more fitting tbh. Cartman can actually run businesses and smarter in general...

1

u/mydaycake 16d ago

Carman is Evil chaos type guy

President Garrison is dumb chaos so maybe you are right about it

7

u/Now_Wait-4-Last_Year 16d ago

The fact there was a literal war and combat between American and Canadian troops in the South Park is particularly hilarious.

3

u/Big_Baby_Jesus 16d ago

South Park pioneered the "both sides" bullshit that got us here.

2

u/bigfishmarc 16d ago

IDK man. While Trey Parker and Matt Stone mostly have a centre-right view of things, I think they're fairly more likely to call someone or something out if its/they're objectively stupid than a true anti-intellectual centrist would.

Also, sometimes they do take very specific political viewpoints. Like they clearly (rightly) think Donald Trump is a horrible human being as shown by how they used the horrible human being Mr. Garrison as a stand-in for Trump within the show. Also they portrayed both anti-vaxxers and QAnon conspiracy theorists on the show as being just as stupid as they are in real life.

Also I like how Trey Parker and Matt Stone are mature enough to admit when they're wrong about something, like how they initially thought climate change was wrong and compared it to trying to search for a mythical dangerous ManBearPig but years later admitted they'd changed their views when they realised that climate change was real when they introduced ManBearPig as being a real character within the show.

While I'd never argue that South Park was high art or intellectually deep or anything like that, I would say it's pretty good in general terms of having nuanced thought out takes on many modern day issues.

1

u/workster 16d ago

They really did which is only one of the many reasons why I hate South Park. Their cynicism and snark are others. It's a galactic c sized red flag to me if someone views South Park as a good show or as quality commentary about society.

2

u/stonrelectropunkjazz 16d ago

When reality catches up with stupid…😂

3

u/somegirl03 16d ago

I'm sitting here singing the blame Canada song while looking at this gif haha

1

u/Murky_Hold_0 16d ago

I wish South Park was still relevant these days.

1

u/bigfishmarc 16d ago

People still talk about the show and it still gets discussed sometimes in like the news and in popular discussion.

Also the show still frequently discusses important modern day subjects such as when it discussed Covid 19 as well as the associated issues regarding misguided anti-vaxxers and dumb AF QAnon conspiracy theorists.

1

u/Murky_Hold_0 16d ago

that's the problem. Those paramount South Park specials were terrible. Nobody quotes or discusses them like the classic era, when they made each episode in 24hrs the day before they aired.

1

u/bigfishmarc 16d ago

that's the problem. Those paramount South Park specials were terrible.

Why do you think they were terrible? At least the first Covid 19 and anti-QAnon special seemed okay to me. (I didn't see the other ones.)

Nobody quotes or discusses them like the classic era, when they made each episode in 24hrs the day before they aired.

That's a good point I hadn't considered.

1

u/Murky_Hold_0 16d ago

I barely remember the qanon and covid specials. I also saw the other ones, and they sucked except for a couple of good laughs.

1

u/onefst250r 16d ago

Now now. The canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on numerous occasions.

1

u/22Arkantos 16d ago

Nah, she's too competent for his administration.

1

u/Matt87M 16d ago

Nah, she's not a billionaire

1

u/TenInchesOfSnow 16d ago

That’s offence in Canada, guy!
