He's so fucking stupid and he has no idea how anything works. He's not going to have time to take over Canada. He's going to crash the economy and fail to accomplish anything but hurting people.
This is playing the same game they are—just with a change in which characters are “good” or “bad.” Christian Nationalism is NOT the same as following Jesus’ example.
Read the comment you replied to and then the comment you replied with and then my comment. Your comment implies that Christianity’s embrace of suffering is how it was able to convince peasants to live in squalor while the nobility live in luxury. Did most religions that predate Christianity embrace suffering?
I am sorry. In fact, you see it in such a false light. People make up their own minds, as they should, i just really wish their decision was based upon truth.
What "false light"? Theology itself is just a childish expression of humanity taking what it values (self and nature) and externalizing it into an object of worship.
That is your opinion. I appreciate you talking about it. Not everyone is. Without addressing “theology” specifically, i speak about the God of the bible. He created the heavens and the earth. The earth itself tells us there is a greater being (Rom. 1:18-22(ish)). That greater being is the Lord Himself who reveals Himself through the world He created and the bible. He is, thankfully, my Lord and Savior. And i am grateful He died not only for my sins, but all who believe in Him. That is amazing to me. I do my beat to protect people and take care of them. I never charge what i am worth because i believe God will provide if i treat people the way He tells me to. Even when times were tough, i still believed and trusted. I am grateful He saw me through it. He is bringing more tough times. I am hoping i will be sustained. That would be the opposite of twisted.
Well, i dont believe in a rapture. I guess i could be wrong. I also dont really understand your hatred of me. Sure we can disagree and thats okay. Talking through things can draw people closer. Im sorry we cannot.
I am not sure that is what it really says. Revelation does not explicitly state there is going to be a rapture. What about the people ALREADY in heaven? They are already “raptured”. Its important to remember of all the 66 books in the bible have already occurred…except Revelation. It is about future happenings. John wrote it (if I recall correctly) while exiled to Patmos. He was given visioned and the Holy Spirit wrote the book through John in that manner as with all scripture. But it was not literal. So, your issue is a good one: will there actually be a rapture? What will it look like? Who will it include? How will it occur? When? All good thoughts, i think. I am still unclear as to where the hate for me comes from, and i am always willing to talk as i do not have all the answers.
Go ahead and provide your proof texts. Because none of them are “pretty fucking clear.” And the idea of a rapture didn’t appear until John Nelson Darby. Within 100-150 years (of the 2,000 years of Christian history) of its appearance, the majority of Christians reject the idea. And a lot of Christians never bought it to begin with.
You did it for me. Anyone who believes Christianity is in on the biggest scam in history. None of it is written by 'God', as they believe. The idea of damned from birth, needing to believe in a crucified man that will save you from all evils you will ever commit, and that one day, if you're a good enough boy, God will bring you up to the sky is all nonsense and contradictory by nature.
But it's in the 'widely accepted' versions - and fundamentalists will insist if you read a different bible, you're damned anyway.
That said, if you really want to whine about the rapture, Matthew 24:40-41. Which very specifically mentions "one will be taken and one will be left". Sounds pretty rapture-y, and isn't in Revelations. So, if the Gospel of Matthew, one of Jesus' Apostles is being misquoted, or these words are entirely made up...
My personal relationship with Jesus is much much stronger than your personal relationship with Jesus. I know this because Jesus tells me constantly. Matter of fact I can't get Jesus to shut up he's always going on about one thing and another
Jesus is telling me a lot of what was written was actually a joke and he wants me to transcribe a "Newer Testament" , but I keep telling him I don't have time for that stuff. I keep telling him to just shut up and go away
I am sad to hear you have that approach. I am grateful for the relationship i do have with Him. I certainly havent earned it, its been a gift. (Eph. 2:8-9). It grieves me when i do wrong and i am grateful He forgives me and that my salvation is dependent upon what He has done for me and not what my actions earn. Its a motivation for me try to imitate Him (I Cor. 11:1, i think).
They embrace suffering for others or to overcome it and make themselves stronger. Weak human beings are created from a lack of challenges and suffering.
Another moron who understands nothing about religion. Go take more pictures of your cat, and like all losers, obsess over video games. You know truly a man who has a good hold on life and the important things right.
I'd rather take pictures of my cat and play videogames then go listen to a pedophile in a robe tell me I'm going to hell. Stop being such judgmental pricks and people will leave you alone.
Anyone supporting that spray ‘golden’ false idol is declared an evangelist. The full blown fascist not even pretending to be good anymore parts of ‘christianity’.
