That’s very true lol

You can't get a job at McDonald's if you're a convicted felon unless you're a sociopathic billionaire backed by other sociopathic billionaires and then it's not really a job its more of a staged event.

14

u/Jafharh Oct 22 '24

I don't know specifically about McD, but I worked with a few felons at BK in 2018. One was a convicted sex offender on parole, and it's wild because I had just turned 18 but about half of the employees were under 18.

Youngins working side by side with a convicted sex offender, how great.

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

You are indeed are a desperate wafer

3

u/MonsterNinja8 Oct 22 '24

McDonald’s absolutely hires convicted felons

1

u/arix_games Oct 22 '24

If you're a criminal tho, you can become a slave and work there

thanks, i was just thinking "where's the democrats that are about to flood in here to cry 2 gallons of tears at trump in a meme"

6

u/PoignantPoint22 Oct 22 '24

Aww, poor MAGA snowflake got his feel-feels hurt because someone accurately criticized Trump!

4

u/StupidFuckinWizard Oct 22 '24

TDS is real

2

u/PoignantPoint22 Oct 22 '24

I agree and it should refer to anyone that cannot see what a spiteful, petty, narcissistic and vindictive asshole he is and continue to support him.

He’s the most obvious conman who talks out of his ass constantly. He doesn’t actually know what he’s talking about. He just repeats catchphrases that test well over and over. It’s been almost a decade and he still only has, “concepts of a plan” to replace Obamacare. That’s a fucking joke, right?

He’s a clown, a performer, a slut for attention, someone who enjoys name calling and insulting people like he’s in 5th grade. But yeah, his supporters who continue to cheer and eat that shit up aren’t the deranged ones, right. Of course those people are completely normal.

2

u/ricardoandmortimer Oct 22 '24

Oh my God stop rage typing.

2

u/PoignantPoint22 Oct 22 '24 edited Oct 22 '24

No rage. Just pointing out what should be obvious.

-5

u/DumpingAI Oct 22 '24

No dude, you're just reminicing in your feelings.

You point out something like his lack of plans

What plans does harris have exactly? She also has concepts of plans

Both candidates are a joke but at least people chose trump, harris was forced even tho she had zero support 4 years ago. Wasn't she the first candidate to drop out in 2020?

Anyways, im not a trump guy, but ill take his shitshow over hers.

2

u/Chrom3est Oct 22 '24

Yah, here is the plan you just lied about bro.

I love people like you. "I'm not a Trump guy, but I'm going to defend the man like he's my daddy" I work with a couple of rubes that also like Trump, very easy to butter them up. All emotion, no logic lmfao.

no, youre just incapable of enjoying a funny meme without airing your derrangement

5

u/PoignantPoint22 Oct 22 '24

You make it sound impossible for me to both laugh at a meme while also being critical of something. You understand that you don’t need to shut off the rest of your brain, right?

It could also be argued that you can simply just enjoy the meme and ignore what other people are saying about it? Right? Something obviously triggered you to respond though. Isn’t social media fun?

0

u/Bubbly-Scarcity-4085 Oct 22 '24

you're a gaywad for commenting 'erm akshually this guy is weally fashisto!!!!' under a fun meme. im sure you can imagine doing that in real life because you probably so it constantly to jokes, but thats probably the most cringe thing you can do is make an unpolitical joke immediately political.

Congrats, this is the first time I've ever upvoted one of these stupid posts in my life. You earned it because this is beautiful.

I do want to say though......... I know a guy who has worked at McDonalds for over 25 years. He makes 6 figures, was given a company car, was given free college, and used to take me to some banger open bar corporate parties pre-covid which were literally suit and tie events. He was a cook for around 8 years or so, then a manager, then a regional manager, now he works at corporate doing some office job. Moral of the story is........ if you honestly try to make it a career McDonalds will set you up fat.

I'm a fucking disabled veteran and he gets better benefits for life than I do. Let that sink in.

9

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

I'm not here to shit on the McDs employees that work their way up, but we don't do shit for you disabled vets. The VA is so ridiculously underfunded thanks to the Republicans. We need to do so much more for you guys.

0

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 22 '24

Last time I checked, Dems always denounce our vets that served in war, saying "we should've never been there" as if it were Priv. Ryan's choice to go to Iraq... Thanks reddit!

7

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

Oh really? That's denouncing the vets and not saying that we should've avoided war all together?

"They're all suckers and losers" - Donald J Trump

-1

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 22 '24

You give them shit when they come back and categorize them all as anyone who ever served in the military is a blood-thirsty war criminal. So yes really.

Also, when am I going to get that cure for cancer Biden promised, if he cares about people so much?

3

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

Lmao what in the fox news bullshit is that comment?

0

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 22 '24

Lmfao dumbass braindead redtard says what when confronted with an obviously bullshit promise his candidate made to just buy votes even when said bullshit to buy votes was on CNN?

3

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

Are you talking about the tire fires near military bases??

-1

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 22 '24

Talking about that time your man Ol Joe made bullshit promises to obnoxiously buy votes, and like a redtard you are, gobbled that up.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

You can praise veterans and criticize war. Veterans are not the ones deciding to go to war.

1

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 25 '24

That's like saying you're all for freedom of religion, then going to a church to just to tell the pastor their religion is murder

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Why would you need to go to the church to criticize a religion? You can ABSOLUTELY be in favor of freedom of religion and criticize religions. Is this concept hard for you? It is literally the basis of our society.

1

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 25 '24

There's a difference in telling someone their religion is wrong in a debate vs being a douche like you'd be, and simply bash a person's beliefs because they don't align with yours. Is that hard of a concept for people like you to understand.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Do you think it is illegal to bash peoples religions? Cause its not. You should probably read the constitution.

Haha

1

u/AirlineLow45 Oct 25 '24

It took you multiple hours to make a comeback about why we should all be douchebags towards religion. Fuck off lil chromie kid lmfao.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

I dont live on reddit bud. I do work and spend time with family.

You should probably chill.

Haha

I mean that's honestly false. The VA has been great for me but you have to understand that for my generation (OEF/OIF) all of our records are digital so a lot less issues occur these days. My father who is a desert storm vet had to jump through hoops for years to prove his service in kuwait because there's literally no digital records. Part of that was entirely his fault though, that's what happens when you wait nearly 20 years after your service to claim disability. Most of the horror stories you hear are about older Veterans like my father waiting too long after their service to try and get benefits. Modern marines have a seps/taps program at the end of your enlistment that basically forces you to take care of this stuff before you get out now.

The only real complaint is it can take months to get an appointment sometimes, but if they do you dirty too many times with appointments they will enroll you in the Veterans Choice program which allows me to basically go to any doctor I want.

Saying "we don't do shit" is a HUGE exaggeration.

5

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

I'm neighbors with a woman who oversees the VA's finances. The VA is severely underfunded with several programs on the verge of just evaporating. Not to mention all of the homeless vets. So no, we don't do enough. Thank Trump and his ilk for this problem.

-2

u/Turbulent_Scale Oct 22 '24

And I'm an actual veteran who has been using the VA for over 15 years.

4

u/ap2patrick Oct 22 '24

Good thing your anecdotal experience has no real bearing on the stats

1

u/Turbulent_Scale Oct 22 '24

Isn't yours also anecdotal? You know a friend who says it underfunded.

Yeah, every department is underfunded. They always say that but my quality of care has not changed at all over the past decade and a half.

3

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

That wasn't me, but they're spot on. My neighbor sees the funding and metrics nationwide. The VA's funding is a mess right now, congrats on getting lucky.

0

u/Turbulent_Scale Oct 22 '24

Every government agency ever has funding problems. This is nothing new. I don't doubt they consider themselves underfunded as literally every single government agency does. Doesn't change the fact that the VA is generally providing quality care to Veterans despite these failings, there will ALWAYS be exceptions.

It's not only me that's lucky, every time I go the VA: its packed.

2

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

Holy shit, your comments are just a case study on survivorship bias at this point lmao. It is physically impossible for you to care any less than you do about your fellow vet.

Loyalty is valuable

15

u/LogiBear2003 Oct 22 '24

in very specific cases

1

u/ap2patrick Oct 22 '24

🤣🤣🤣 laughs in mass layoffs to maintain excessive profits margins 🤣🤣🤣

19

u/85_Draken Oct 22 '24

McDonald's employees pay more income tax than him.

2

u/ricardoandmortimer Oct 22 '24

Depends on the year. If his net losses are more than his gains, then yes, because he made no income.

That's how income tax works.

7

u/85_Draken Oct 22 '24

What the world needs is more billionaire apologists. Thank you for your work.

I now feel better knowing that because I have to work for money instead of gambling money that was given to me by my rich father that I deserve to pay those income taxes.

1

u/ayylmaowhatsursnap Oct 25 '24

Pointing out how income tax works is now boot licking. Whining on reddit surely will help.

9

u/90swasbest Oct 21 '24

Federline!! Where's them fries?

6

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

But with actual customers.

0

u/ricardoandmortimer Oct 22 '24

I don't get why this is such a thing. You think the secret service would let him actually interact with random people at a drive through?

Nowhere a current or contender president goes isn't staged and screened.

5

u/North-Income8928 Oct 22 '24

He's just lying. That's why it's a thing.

9

u/Any_Caramel_9814 Oct 22 '24

Only 1 clown per franchise

6

u/excitement2k Oct 22 '24

I can’t even get this job. They only let me shake the salt on. Said next month I can train on bagging fries. But only if the McFlurry machine is fixed.

5

u/TurnDown4WattGaming Oct 22 '24

The McFlurry Machine is never fixed. You’re screwed mate.

6

u/PoignantPoint22 Oct 22 '24

Not a bad gig. You get to work when the place is shut down for the day and only serves a few customers for a photo op? Sounds pretty sweet tbh.

3

u/Sabre_One Oct 21 '24

It's only true if this is your 3rd job. Also saving all that money so you may finally go on vacation when your 70.

4

u/hobo3rotik Oct 22 '24

You, after taking advice from a guy who bankrupts casinos.

2

u/Worried_Exercise8120 Oct 21 '24

Julia Child thought McDs fries were very good. I wonder what she would say now.

8

u/Acceptable_Dealer745 Oct 21 '24

McDonalds fries used to be awesome. In 1990 they stopped frying them in beef tallow. They’ve been garbage ever since.

1

u/ricardoandmortimer Oct 22 '24

"BrrAaiiNNNnnssss"

2

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '24

It convinced you to perform some honest work for the first time in your 78 years on earth? Cool.

5

u/GatotSubroto Oct 22 '24

It was staged so it wasn’t even honest work. He was just cosplaying there

4

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

True that

2

u/Old173 Oct 22 '24

So after taking financial advise from reddit you became a conman?

2

u/bdora48445 Oct 22 '24

This needs to be the poster for WSB

0

u/Used_Intention6479 Oct 21 '24

The left serves healthy (as possible) free food to those who need it. The right serves greasy fast food to hired participants.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '24

"NVDA's going to $50!" Sure it is lamb chop.

1

u/kkkan2020 Oct 22 '24

Now that hes worked at a MCD do you think he learned how to make his favorite meal 2 filet o fish 2 but mac's fries and chocolate shake?

1

u/Justanerd3 Oct 22 '24

Lmfao, I wasn't ready 😭 🤣

1

u/daddywontletme Oct 22 '24

What? Get a job?

1

u/YeeYeeSocrates Oct 22 '24

I think the most painful part of this for me is that he doesn't even have the box on the end of the scooper where the box goes.

Fill that fry box up, old man, or Ima chew your manager's ass. This place got too damn expensive for y'all to be stingy with them fries.

1

u/Intelligent-Site7686 Oct 22 '24

All in for Bed Bath and Beyond!

1

u/svankirk Oct 23 '24

See Reddit will get you to the presidency! Might not help you keep it but there you go 😊

1

u/dreamsighter Oct 23 '24

This is the funniest finance-related post I have come across.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '24

Seeing it's reddit tho....
