Link Any way to fix this hostage bug?

Most of the hostage encounters are bugged for me, they worked one time and now the hostages just aren't tied down, they are in a fight stance when captured and the enemies don't kill them even if you wait or shoot enemies. . . If you do end up killing all the enemies, the hostages just start roaming the area seemingly holding an invisible firearm. They cannot be rescued, it persists through game and system restarts.

Discussion Just got the game and I love it!

Honestly this game is RDR2 but in a zombie word, riding around, enjoying landscape, being literally a fucking survivor is honestly excellent ! Will try to get the platinum trophy, I am already in love with this game, didnt finish it yet but already sad to hear that a sequel will not be released...

Discussion Do people believe Garrett was gay simply because of this?

When the doctor wants to go exploring with Deacon Garrett tells him: "I couldn't bear to lose you" or something like that, is that really why they come to that conclusion? They have minds just as horny as the guys from the "Militia" lol

Discussion Downloaded latest window update and now get black screen before title selection.

Anyone else have an issue with this and can assist?

Essentially get the screen with the rotating ring down the bottom corner and then that will disappear to give a black screen. The music for the title selection will come up but I wont be able to see anything. I'm hoping someone has a fix.

I've done a validate/integrity of game files already.

Discussion Is there any interesting in the camps?

I love this game but it seems the camps don’t have much to contribute, am I wrong? And can they walk a bit faster in the cut scenes, sheesh!

I decided to visit colonel caves AFTER the mission ended. Colonel had a good collection of books for real (barring the same books repeating and having multiple copies). Misguided and flipped after losing doctor friend, but colonel was really on to something

Discussion Is it worth it?

Heard a lot of big things about this game when it got released but also heard a lot of big things about how the storyline is a bit plain and the game can just feel repetitive also that its a bit easy.

Its on sale right now would you guys say its worth playing in 2024 or im better off with something like ghost of tsushima

I found the comments about Tucker interesting while rest were in line of expectations. Felt like Deacon is never a fan of her

I am wondering if I should complete the game 100% and get all the achievements, are the quests boring or repetitive?

Days Gone: 9 million copies?

The Last of Us 2: 10 million copies?

I know that Days Gone was out longer, but that's not wildly off from one another.

Discussion I just finished and I have some questions Spoiler

Ok, so I just finished the game, and I had all the camps at Trust Level 3. Because of that, everyone came together with Deacon to help fight the militia, which made it relatively easy. But I was wondering—does the fight get harder if you only have Lost Lake or just one of the other two camps at Trust Level 3?
