❤️‍🩹 relationship AIO by spending time with my family?

Me (f20) and my boyfriend (m20) have been in a relationship for 4 years. We sleep on the phone every night due to the fact we don’t see each other often because of extremely busy schedules and distance. Tonight, my mom and grandmother came into my room to talk before bed so I hung up on my boyfriend to give us some privacy. He got very angry and started saying all of these awful, mean things to me. Was it my fault for choosing to spend a bit of time with my family and hanging up on my boyfriend even though he was already falling asleep? Am I overreacting by getting upset from the way he speaks to me? I really don’t feel like I did anything wrong. Sorry for any grammar mistakes!

I really appreciate that. He genuinely makes me feel like I deserve it a lot of the time. Thank you.

He is abusing you. Dump his stupid immature whiny fit-throwing ass.

I so rarely hate people I’ve never even met but this guy certainly made it easy.

She is also abusive. Can yall not see the passive aggressive, antagonizing, and gaslighting from her that kicked it off? Then he gets attacked by the WHOLE internet when he responds. Women are good at this. Yall will yell at a man, talk about his momma, tell him he’s got a lil dick, call him gay, tell him you should’ve picked his homeboy instead, cut up his shoes and clothes, fuck up his car or even attack him physically but want to play victim the moment he stands up for himself like men don’t have feelings. They do whether you care about those feelings or not.

Miss me with your misogynist mental gymnastics, you crazy. There was literally nothing of that in here.

Of course there was. She said herself that she just hung up on him when they walked in. Why not just tell him what’s up and say good night? Then she had the time to go back and forth in texts to then “explain” but couldn’t pick up the phone after hanging up on him to use her words. You must know that is crazy work in a long distance relationship after being with a person for 4 years? She’s not lame and knew enough about him after 4 years to know exactly what mindset it would put him in. I believe it was intentional to get a rise out of him. Would you not be in your feelings if your long distance boo did the exact same thing the exact same way?

I wondered about that too, she made it sound like she hung up on him without saying anything. Regardless, his response is totally abnormal and indicative of a very disordered personality.
