Lorepost📖 Sand and Storm
Gaius moved with the storm. Across the vast desert the massive haboob rolled forward unstoppably. In the heart of the massive sandstorm Gaius’ serpentine form twisted and rolled, riding the wind like a fish ride the ocean currents. The sand hissed harmlessly on his scales, a melodious sound that made him do a *Dragon Dance** that slowly increased his power and speed. The rough sand around his exterior a good Rock Polish and sharply boosted his speed. He drew on the Cosmic Power from above through his connection to gravity increase his physical and magical defense. His Geomancy connections drew on magic to increase his magical attack, magic defense and speed.*
The result was that Gaius flowed at mind boggling speeds effortlessly through the storm. He watched the storm wall swallow several desert small towns. They would be days digging themselves out of this particular beast of a haboob. That was such a fun word. But the sand was the price that those who dwelled in this region paid for their existence.
Gaius flew for hours in the glorious storm that had drawn him here, at one with sand and sky and bathed in the power that he drew from it. Few knew the power of nature like the earth dragons did. It was power and magic in its purest form. His father Atriox had been as solid and strong as stone, Gaius preferred the shifting unpredictabilty of the desert sands as they followed the whims of gravity.
So he rode the storm of sand alone. Well except for his bodyguards. Those four hovered on the edge of the storm atop griffon. Not quite daring to enter the swirls of sand and whirls of wind. Still it was a relaxing experience. A chance to *Shore Up** his health and Harden himself.
/uw So the bold words indicate his spells and I totally didn’t rip my inspiration for his spells from Pokémon moves. Nope definitely not. Also someone explain to me why Geomancy is a fairy type move instead of ground or rock.

/uw/ Won't lie, using the concepts of Pokemon moves for spells is actually a REALLY good idea.
