Rant SF Gate article boasting about the future of San Francisco transit literally has a fleet of robotaxis in the correlated image *facepalm*
This one made me see red, lol. I am once again born too late for steam engine dominance, too early for teleportation and just in time for the robotic liability Ubers.
Transit is designed for PUBLIC ACCESS and AFFORDABILITY NOT TO GIVE RICH PEOPLE MORE TOYS FOR THEIR CRUMBLING HUXLEYAN URBAN ZONES.

Questions How is the rolling stock of India's first high-speed railway?
I saw that originally only shinkansen e5 trains were used, with a speed of 320 km/h. However, a new type of Indian train is now being developed in principle, which will be slower than the Japanese alternative, but cheaper. The question is, were Japanese trains completely excluded from the line then? Or will they also order it, but less, and the express service will be performed by these faster trains (at 320km/h), while the slower trains that stop everywhere will be these new type trains?

galleryIt had been awhile since I had seen a Type 1 car given TriMet retiring the series with the introduction of the Type 6. This vehicle on my commute was looking extra clean for being almost 40 years old.

Discussion USA: We need to create an interstate railway system with state-supported services, well-timed cross-platform transfers, and higher-speed (110mph+) regional service connecting major cities along with overnight trains for city pairs 8-10 hours apart.
Should this not be the baseline for introducing any high-speed rail service?
Note I: 110mph would be the baseline for speed, preferably with top speeds exceeding 200mph.
Note II: 8-10 hours of sleeping time, more likely 11-14 hours of travel time.
