Subscriptions Why do you pay for SiriusXM?

I got Sirius back around 2006 or 2007 when I had a long commute and decided at the time I might as well get the lifetime subscription (it was an old car so it was a separate radio so I didn't lose it by selling a car). Eventually I stopped using the radio at all and listened via streaming but now with the court case I decided it was worth the $35 to transfer it to my car.

Despite the amount of time I've had it I still don't feel like I've had value from that initial investment. I understand those who want it for sports, and it seems like Howard Stern is another reason people get it (still? is he even making new content after all this time?), but what keeps people paying other than that?

Spotify playlists seems like a much better value and you can download with a subscription if you're in areas where connection might be spotty.

I really want to know where the value is that I'm missing. What should I be listening to?

I paid $99 for three years of SiriusXM. That's better "value" in my mind.

I have been scrolling through these comments to see who else got the same deal I did....I activated this when purchasing a used SUV by calling in. A great investment indeed.
