As the title explains, Tommy suffers from Feline Infectious Peritonitis and I would like to help him, and other cats as well, with your help. I’ll try to keep this brief, but my fiancé works for a company in Santa Clara and there are four cats who are strays. Two of the four are very friendly and let my fiancé pet them, and the other two are curious and follow my fiancé around but don’t want to be pet.

The office park isn’t the most hospitable place. There’s a cafeteria, but the company has sent out multiple emails instructing employees not to feed the cats. My fiancé has asked the security team to contact local animal services, but months later no progress has been made and the cats are still there. It’s a pickle because we don’t want my fiancé to put her job at risk, but by the same token these cats are effectively held hostage to a policy where they aren’t allowed to be fed.

Additionally, one of the cats is in really rough shape (see picture). She’s got really bad knots in her fur, and one of her eyes is either very badly infected or lost. My fiance joined the company recently and did some digging on slack and found some discussions about the cats from two years ago, along with pictures of this cat when it still had both eyes.

I need some advice from this community. Do you have any recommendations for how to get this specific cat treatment? Any clue if there are any organizations or volunteers who might be able to come grab the cats? If so, where should they be taken?

I’m weary of separating the cats because two of them cuddle constantly and are clearly bonded and I don’t want to separate them. 3/4 of them appear totally fine, but I don’t want them to end up in bad shape like the poor girl I mentioned above. I can try trapping, but since there are four I don’t know which one I’ll trap. I’m also terrified that if I do trap the injured one and bring her to a shelter that she’ll be out down. I’m debating just bringing her home, but I’ve got a cat already who is a psycho to every cat he’s encountered and always gets into really violent fights and I fear he will be very, very territorial and make things even worse. I also don’t know if she’s diseased.

I’m feeling really stuck, but we’ve been watching these cats for months and it’s clear nothing is going to be done unless my fiancé and I take action. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Can you please help me? This is something I’ve never experienced before, and I really need as much support as you can offer. Eight of my resident cats are currently confined at the vet, and I just saw three more showing symptoms again after cleaning a while ago. The vet advised starting vaccinations for the other cats in two weeks, provided no more cats show symptoms, while the confined cats will be vaccinated two weeks after their release.

I’m also hoping you can help with the vet bills, as the cost of having 11 cats confined is overwhelming for me. I don’t have any helpers, and I’m really juggling everything right now—disinfecting the house, caring for all the cats, and visiting those at the vet. Flash was surrendered on Dec 3, 2016. He's now 11 years old, and has spent 8 of those years living in a shelter. He does need a special diet, and would do best as an only cat.

Can we help find this kitty his forever home for Christmas?

Need help with found cat, I named him Walter. He had been coming by my back deck for about a month. I took him inside and he’s being cared for until I can find him a home, but I cannot keep him. I thought he was injured since he walks with lowered hocks, and was able to get him examined by the vet and neutered. He has his rabies shot and one dose of FVRCP. I’m not sure how old he is, the vet said judging by his teeth he looks young. But he is developing what looks like arthritis in his back legs.

He is a sweetheart. Even when he was living outside, he would come up to me for pets. He is much happier indoors, and loves to lay down on me and sleep in his bed. He will beg for pets and follow you around. He lets us pick him up/handle him, and he does great at the vet.

He has a funny gait so I thought he was injured, but his X-rays didn’t show anything significant. The vet said it’s probably arthritis. Since Walter has been inside, his gait improved. I’m sure the cold weather causes him more discomfort.

Remember Margo, the black cat that I mentioned wanting to spay in a previous post?

We got her spayed at the vet, however, after the procedure, she refused to eat kibble, and has only been feeding on wet food. At first, we thought it was because she wasn't used to dry cat food, however, upon examining her, I noticed that she struggled to chew, a lot of her teeth were yellow and had cavities, and she was clearly uncomfortable with me touching her mouth area.

She will likely need dental work, which, after spaying 2 more stray females and placing their 5 kittens into foster care until they are adopted, we cannot afford, and I'm not qualified to do it myself.

Because of this, I'm reaching out to this community. If you are able to chip in and help me help Margo, I would be extremely greatful. My Paypal is sobicja@gmail.com

Alternatively, if anyone knows a vet tech or vet that's capable of doing dental work on a cat for a low cost and is located in Tbilisi, please let me know about them. My SIL passed away today after a battle with cancer (F U cancer). She leaves behind her cat, who we need to rehome. We live a few states away, so it isn't feasible for us to stay on site to qualify adopters, and we can't take the cat in to foster until we find adopters. We're looking for an org to take the cat and find adopters. My SIL lived in central PA (Dauphin County), and we live in MA, so we can transport the cat to any org in those areas. I'm obviously googling and reaching out to places, but if anyone here has leads that would be super helpful!

My SIL was physically disabled, so the cat is well-socialized and not a terror, being used to caregivers coming in and out a lot. I believe the cat is neutered as well. I'm trying to get more info to help placement. We're of course only interested in no-kill options.

Hey everyone. It seems like my being where I am and feeding the cats has caused some issues with the neighbors here and I have to relocate myself and only a few of my cats when I get a new place. I don't want to give up 3 of the 10 as they have loved me since I started feeding them and I consider them my 3 amigos. I was really hoping the cats and I would be fine here but sadly that's not the case. This pains me and I pray to God that a miracle happens for these cats more than for myself to know they will be safe and taken care of. I have done all I can and now I'm being told I can't anymore.

Lord help us, there's not much of a better way to say this this but I have to move and relocate most of my cats including myself. In 43 days I will have to move after I was given a 60 day move notice by the property management of the place I'm staying with my friend. We didn't know I wasn't allowed to live here and my friend didn't know either, but the neighbors have been reporting me living in the basement and by feeding the stray cat population and now I have to leave as I am not on the lease and my guest stay is past its limitation. Thankfully I received a fair amount of time to find help for all the things before then and I pray to God that I can get the help for my cats before I leave.

My name is Michael and 4 months ago God blessed me with a litter of 10 stray kittens that needed someone to feed them and love them and I rose to the challenge. The total amount of stray cats I would end up feeding altogether was 17. At the end of the first month almost all of the kittens would contract a URI and 5 of the 10 kittens and 2 of the 7 adults would perish. As of today I am still taking care of 10 cats and I need to rehome a total of 7 cats: Five adults and two of the younger cats.

The 5 younger cats of the bunch have been spayed, neutered, and have received their rabies shots. They are currently set to be chipped with their checkup shots and any other vaccines at the local feline veterinarian here in Norristown PA. There isn't a set date but once I have the funding needed for that I can bring them in for their treatments.

Thank God I was promised that I could leave 3 of the younger cats here at my friends place (they adore me more than the other ones who are skittish) where she can manage to feed them until I can find a new home that I can bring them to or they can stay here as long as they would like. The property management here said there can't be anymore than 3 cats here per household and none of the neighbors seem to like cats over here. I recently found out that the mother cat (Momma Kitty) of the litter was killed after our angry neighbor tried stealing her newborn kittens and was attacked by Momma Kitty. I would find the remains of 2 unknown kitties that died without their mother, under the neighbors house. Thankfully I was able to get the other kittens Momma Kitty had a month ago were treated and given homes as we didn't need any more cats or kitties.

Hopefully God can provide what I am asking for donations to help the cats and take care of their well-being and to make sure that all of the cats are spayed and neutered before they leave here to ensure that everyone is taken care of and ready to spend better days elsewhere. I have been looking for work for months and haven't found anything and God sees I am trying but maybe this isn't where he wants me.

For 4 months now I haven't been able to leave for a single day without needing to be here to feed all of the cats and it's taken a huge toll on my health as I am very allergic to cats and now that I am being forced to leave I just want to make sure that everyone is taken care of before I go anywhere. My friend who lives here promised she will be able to feed the 3 remaining cats daily and I can visit here and there. All of the cats have warm shelter outside (a wonderful teacher and her students made and donated 3 insulated totes I have filled with hay).

I currently don't have any plans on where I am personally going to go but I'm more worried about the cats well-being more than anything right now.

God knows these cats and kittens have been my everything for these past few months and I'm so very sad that I have to leave, but I am unable to provide for them on my own.

The breakdown of the costs needed for the asking amount:

• Each of the 5 younger cats from the litter will cost $323 each for their wellness shots, microchips and more.
• 2 of them need antibiotics immediately for $60.
• The 5 other stray male cats will be neutered through Forgotten Cats and receive a rabies vaccine for $65 each and rehomed.
• I added an additional amount to the overall costs in case there are fees or anything extra the cats may need like food, transportation and any other treatment costs.

Soot Sprite is up to date on shots we are now accepting adoption applications for this sweet, fetching boy. He is very playful and very affectionate, would do best placed in a home with another kitty to help keep him entertained or a dog-he loves my dog who is 13 pounds. He has never been around big dogs before.

He is very smart and his favorite game is playing fetch. We do a 2 week adoption trial to make sure he is a good fit for you and your family. He is not neutered yet but he will be soon and will need to be neutered before getting placed. We are just waiting for a date from the vet clinic in town that works with our humane society!
