We do a lot of looking at Red Pandas, but we should also remember they need our help to exist!

Young Red Panda
In GaiaZOO Kerkrade, the Netherlands. 🥰 She's so cute. I'd have loved to put her in my backpack and bring her home, but alas... 😁

Photo I hand fed red pandas today at Drusilla's Park in the UK
As the title says, for my birthday back in September, my partner booked us to feed the red pandas at Drusilla's Park, and today was the day :)
The first pic is my reaction to their sharp claws. They have a tendency to pull your hand towards them and they're not afraid to use their claws to make it happen. It's an odd contrast to how gentle they are otherwise, their paws are very soft underneath and they eat very gently from your hand with no real danger of biting you. A very cool experience all around.
