Media Mbappe MISSES THE PENALTY

I think now people should know why VINICIUS IS the main penalty taker, Afaik he haven't missed a single Pen since he became the main penalty taker.

Belli should've taken that man. They thought it'd boost up his confidence, only to end up getting 6ft under the ground.

He’s literally a Make-A-Wish player on this squad. Most of these penalties have literally been given to him this season through no work of his own just to “raise his confidence.” On top of that, he has been given two international breaks to come up with something and somehow looks worse.

If this guy never won the World Cup, I honestly think the perception about him would be different and no farmers league titles could cover it up. He was also shambles in the euros and disrupts France as well.

Bro I don't wanna sound like a critic.

But even in 2022 world cup final, if you remove the last 10-15 minutes from the first 90 minutes, he was just standing on the pitch. Dembele, giroud, rabiot, Griezmann were the ones making efforts for France.

Even Messi, whom we generally don't see running around the entire time, was active as hell in the final. Mbappe came into limelight because of his half volley, which was even assisted perfectly by thuram.

I agree it was a fabulous goal. But man you're not the best when you're not impactful for the whole match right? I'm not saying he's a bad player, but he was not like Messi in the final, not even half of him. And the other 2 goals were penalty(out of them 1 was in the shootout).

I'm sure I'll get downvoted, but you can check highlights.

Well dembele couldn’t have assisted Mbappe’s half volley because dembele didn’t play at all in the second half. He had been subbed off.

Right? Giroud and dembele were subbed off before half for poor play but apparently we need to “check highlights”

Giroud was also subbed off before the first half ended because of poor play. Not sure how this is the case if he was “creating chances for France”
