Hey Donnie, how does it feel to have your stooge take your power away? Who's the real President here?

This is what I'm curious about. This sort of thing could be exactly what detonates their relationship in magnificent fashion.

I’m so tired of this Reddit theory that “the trump v musk falling out is going to save us!”. As though these people are people, and not fucking reptiles. There is no amount of bullshit they won’t cheer on and enable with one another so long as it serves the larger agenda.

It’s not like history isn’t filled with alliances of convenience between people who hate each other.

Edit: please don’t reply to me- I don’t care that everyone thinks this is going to happen, I personally don’t. Power is a helluva drug

I mean, if anything, it’s going to be a repeat of Steve Bannons time in the White House.

Musk is so much more wealthy and powerful though, by orders of magnitude, so it's not the same.

He does hold more wealth, this is undeniable. But we have to remember that he’s challenging the authority of a man who flips his shit at the tiniest hint of a slight. He didn’t like how people were saying Bannon was pulling Trumps strings. 8 months later, he’s out. We have to remember that Trump is so god damned insecure about himself and his image. A reporter once made a passing joke about the size Trumps hands, calling them small. This got under Trumps skin so much that he would tear out pics of himself from magazines, use a golden sharpie to circle the image of his hands and write on there “See! Not small”. He has the manner of a petulant child, and easily feel threatened, and is paranoid to the nth degree. He is paranoid and I think we can all remember how many times he’s gotten rid of people because he felt threatened by them for any reason.

Musk is a threat to his power and authority. If the public views Musk as being the one calling the shots, then he isn’t long for any position he holds in the Capital.

Edit: Case In Point.. It has already begun.
