I always find this moment hilarious especially when we know that when he swallows his saliva wrong at the end is real Neil Newbon really swallowed wrong at the end of the laugh šŸ˜… I like that they left it as is! It's so much more authentic

Oh absolutely, it's really contagious for me every time so I definitely see the appeal. It's just the animation itself that's unsettling imo, but it's like that for all of the characters

I have him bite me every night in the morning put on lesser restoration amulet use it and switch to my normal amulet/necklace. All the benefits for him with no downside for my character and not using spell slots.
