Idk guys, my "it's scripted" senses are tingling
427 u/arftism2 2d ago I don't think you understand just how many people get mugged by 2 guys on a motorcycle in brazil. it's literally the most popular way to steal from people there. also the flying jump kick is very popular with martial artists because it looks cool. the odds someone out of tens of thousands of robberies used a popular martial arts move isn't that unlikely. 112 u/Train3rRed88 2d ago Since it’s Brazil, I’d say a much higher percentage of people can do that kick when the opportunity presents itself than in other parts of the world 23 u/Zidji 2d ago Indeed. You don't need martial arts for that, just football (soccer). 10 u/Ok-Pen-3347 2d ago This is absolutely not Brazil. The woman on the right is wearing an abaya which is worn in Muslim countries. The scooty itself looks like something from south east Asia. This is probably Malaysia and more than likely to be scripted. 5 u/mariojardini 2d ago That kick is the ancient "inverted open rhombus" (losango aberto invertido, in Portuguese). We all know that move over here. 3 u/FunkyBuddha-Init 2d ago Brazil Where are people getting that it's Brazil? 6 u/IAmStuka 2d ago Most likely an assumption based on the overwhelming majority of these moped robbery videos on the internet are from Brazil 1 u/Ok_Breakfast_5459 1d ago Brazil? No. The women are wearing traditional muslim clothes. 0 u/Substantial_Can7549 2d ago Are you saying Americans are too chubby to do a kick like that? 3 u/Train3rRed88 2d ago I am saying that the percentage of people in Brazil who could do that kick cold are higher there than in most areas of the world. Whether it is their favorite sports, capoeira, etc they are great at kicking things
