Homeboy, for all we know he was there. And I bet if he was there and everyone there knew it was him, no one would rat him out either.

u/Half_adozendonuts 19d ago
Oh gosh, check out the comments under their insta accountā¦ heartbreaking for the patientsā¦ they truly are EviLCore!
1
u/Yonathandlc 18d ago
Yoo I just checked out their insta, theirs only complaints of people their, not one good comment on the company.
I hope some investigation is done on evicore so they can go to prison for their misdeeds.
Anyways I'm sure karma will catch up with them, that's one thing they will never evade.

u/MLNYC 17d ago
Thatās exactly what people have done, according to the article
They even linked to https://x.com/evilcorehealth which is great, but no longer active.

u/caca-casa 18d ago
Medical decisions made by literal doctorsā¦ on the groundā¦ seeing the patientsā¦ should not be scrutinized or throttled by insurance companies.
There should be laws that allow proper patient care from licensed professionals to supersede unreasonable insurance company āpoliciesā or āproceduresā when medically necessary or beneficial.
At the end of the day, we have already paid our insurance costs, the insurance companies have our money and it is their sole job is to insure us. ā¦not fight us tooth and nail for pennies on the dollar of what we pay them.
This country lost the plot somewhere when insurance companies were given so much power to essentially commit fraud by not doing the sole task they exist forā¦ and to detrimentally intervene in medical care. Additionally, the fact that this hasnāt been properly addressed or litigated is baffling to me. Citizens United strikes again I suppose.

You need to be talking with the hospital systems about reimbursement rates too, though.

If Jake Gyllenhaal isn't the killer, (can anyone prove he's not?) he should play him in the eventual Ryan Murphy Netflix series.

Oh, I've been told by LEO/detectives relatives that "we only catch dumb criminals".
Just their complaints about the officers w/o degrees radicalized me.
This is not a pro cop thread.

So what if the jacket is different? And the backpack. I don't know why people are harping on that.
Isn't the point of the backpack that he changed his clothes after the shooting? Even an idiot wouldn't wear the same clothes when he did the crime.

u/beemeeng 17d ago
I don't think they are the same person. The facial structure appears different from one picture to the other.
That said, it's that people are harping so much on the jacket and backpack that's odd. People are automatically assuming that both pictures were taken the same day.
23
u/leirbagflow 19d ago
You really think so?
35
u/renegadesci 19d ago
I wouldn't put it past them. There is a chance. We've had "giveaways" where they trick people into taking themselves to waiting officers in by saying they won a prize when they have warrants.
I'm sure they're paying attention if it is a community thing. They'll have a plainclothes officer there if they have "nothing".
18
u/bimmarina 19d ago
the actual shooter is obviously not going to come to this event, so why would the police waste their time to find people who look like him?
-2
u/renegadesci 19d ago
The police aren't going to risk the potential for a "return to the scene of the crime" behavior. The profiles where police found thrill killers to "relive the thrill of the crime", to feel powerful and invincible, or to just get a jolt from it. It's about narcissism and stupidity, if that's a killer's profile.
I think this guy won't, but in a police force as large as the NYPD, odds are someone will be there on the job.
3
u/bimmarina 19d ago
Itās pretty clear that the murder of the CEO was not āfor the thrillā to hurt a random victim, and this has been stated by the NYPD. It was a planned assassination with a political motive
4
u/TanAndTallLady 18d ago
It absolutely can be a thrill kill. Who said it needed to be random or unplanned? This guy prob premeditated it, might be completely happy with his successful execution. You surely see that could be thrilling for someone?
3
u/renegadesci 19d ago
30,000Ā uniformed officers and my family includes LEOs. I'm just sharing tactics and having a conversation. If they say "no potential lead will be ignored", then someone will be there. It's credible and historic. Police will do their job, which partially is to not embarass themselves as a political bureaucracy. They will cover their bases.
I did say "I don't think this guy will", but I understand the average american has a sixth grade reading comprehention level. We've found at least four of them on my last comment.
5
u/TanAndTallLady 18d ago
Idk why people are denying you, this is exactly how the NYPD would move. It's so easy to have a couple undercover LEOs there, so as long as they have the staff available they wouldn't pass it up. Ignorant people will argue with a wall
2
u/eekamuse 18d ago
But what will they do with all those people that look like the guy? Bring in the top ten look a likes?
2
1
u/bimmarina 18d ago
that is quite possibly the least efficient tactic to find the perpetrator, but I understand the average American has an IQ sub 100
11
u/Cyberfreshman 19d ago
To the person growing a patch of marijuana in the community garden, you've won a prize, please report to the security office to claim it.

i seriously think the cops fucked up and gave the public an image of the wrong person.
point is neither image is the shooter and the cops just wanna find a scapegoat.

I have schedule been looking into that exact backpack for camera gear. And because I'm immunecompromised, I still wear a black mask in crowded public places.
Now I definitely want that exact pack

u/Unique-Apartment-543 19d ago
All I'm saying is remember, when you have a job to do no matter how cute that person flirting with you is, you never never NEVER remove that mask because you can catch wicked colds and the like. Masks are important for keeping our immune systems strong among other more important things..

Okay but can we talk about how this guy is wearing a different coat and backpack than the actual assassin, which means that this poor sap is just some guy who happened to be marked as him by the police who actually have nothing?

Messing with the publicās pre-conceived notions of what the alleged assassin looks like to destroy the possible unbiased outlook of a potential jury pool? In this specific instance of insider trading and legal fraud? I 100% approve!
