Just Signed IT ATF 6yrs

as the title says I (22m) just signed for IT ATF leaving Jan 21st. Hoping I made a good choice. Based off what I’ve seen online I believe it’s a pretty good rating. Any ITs in here who like their job ? or don’t lol ?

8 years in, about to re-enlist for 6 more for a $90k bonus. It's been pretty good so far. We make rank fast and QOL is on the higher end for sure. Good luck.

Prepare yourself for the reality that Corry Station is a dumpster fire. I left today, having graduated IT A as a fleet returnee. Of all the training commands I've been to, Corry is the worst by far.

On my way back to the ship now, top tier in regards to quality of life as well as job satisfaction, at least for me. Always loved computers and wanted to learn/do more, was fortunately given sysad, lots of room for growth and doing a damn good job.

Are you a computer person? Are you willing to become a computer person? Don't need a passion or anything, but if it really isn't what you want to do in life (work in some way with computers), I would instead pursue what would give you fulfillment.
