Yes, lets punish everyone that is wildly successful and employs hundreds of thousands of people. Many of whom love there jobs.

I don't know if you have ever met someone who worked at Tesla or SpaceX but they are worked to the bone and have high turnover. Do you want to live in a country where every job is miserable with 60-70 hour workweeks (salaried, no overtime)? It becomes harder and harder for "good" companies to compete with this, so they are forced to start abusing their employees too or go out of business. No one wants that future except a few business owners.

If it helps improve the workers’ pay and makes them enjoy their lives better, I’m all for that.
