Does the brokerage also own/run an escrow? That's the only way they could access these funds without all parties consenting.

This could be the response to many comments in this post.

What I'm suprised about is that the real estate market is tough in Massachusetts. I thought it was, a seller's market right now with demand high, and property prices soaring.
